Al Mir Rubber Mall
Al mir Rubber is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial rubber products in
India and was established in 1982 . They have regularly upgraded their technology
to meet international standards of quality . It was the first indian company to bring
home Rotocuring Machine and Silicon Extrusion plant . They supply products of
superior quality and high value so as to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable
growth

2. Importance from economic angle

Almir Rubber Mall is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial rubber in
India . It produces natural rubber . Natural rubber is an essential raw material used
in the creation of more than 40000 products . It is used in medical devices ,
surgical gloves , pacifiers , clothes , car tires , aircraft . It is obtained from latex .
Natural rubber is also consumed as an industrial raw material but it is unique in the
sense that it is produced as an agricultural commodity . The prices of its basic
ingredients are influenced by the price of petroleum . Presently , over 80% is being
sourced from independent smallholders . Therefore it also becomes a social
commodity where more than 30 million small farmers are at stake worldwide . The
ups and downs in crude oil market also tend to have an effect on the natural rubber
market . As synthetic rubber is petroleum derived a rise in crude oil can make
synthetic rubber more expensive . If natural rubber is cultivated in a sustainable
way , the cultivation creates jobs , habitats for animals and plants and makes it
possible to absorb and store CO2 from the air . An important step to sustainability
is to sensitise consumers and companies and create sustainable supply chains

3.
1. In their methods to produce natural rubber sheets they make sure to follow
the policy of zero deforestation , particularly primary forests which are
likely to be jeopardized by the development of rubber cultivation . They also
make sure to control the potential impact of rubber cultivation on flora ,
fauna and natural ecosystems . The organization ensures that its activities
related to natural rubber cultivation , harvesting and processing does not
have harmful effects on surface or groundwater resources . The employees
of the organization implements a system on its sites for the collection ,
processing and recycling of waste or byproducts generated by farming .
2. The economic tool used by the company is lowering the environmental
impact of farming and contributing to a sustainable agricultural development
3. Organizations in the same sector use cost effectiveness as a tool since rubber
sheets are widely used in industries like pharmaceutical ,construction sites ,
drainage systems ,etc and hence will be preferred more to their substitutes in
the market . They also make their products easy to handle by selling them on
a roll of a specific length

6. There are certain cons of rubber sheet production

● Latex products generally shrink . Moulding latex rubber is slow and time -
consuming
● Silicone rubber sheets are high in cost and also do not have a long life
● With regard to natural rubber , one of the biggest limitations is its poor
resistance to hydrocarbons ,fats, oils and greases . Close contact with these
substances can cause swelling , softening or complete destruction of the
rubber part resulting in total failure of the product
