Self-Awareness/Emotional Regulation
GOAL - Gurkirat Singh Gill will identify and manage feelings of anxiety, stress,
anger on a daily basis with three times a day as measured by self evaluation and
parents.

Objectives:

1. Relate situations in which one experiences a given emotion.


2. Say NO to an inappropriate request.
3. Accept NO for an answer.
4. Recognize signs of frustration.
5. Manage unreasonable fears.
6. Identify appropriate ways to convey emotions like pleasure and anger.
7. Practice ways to reduce anxiety and stress in real and simulated situations.

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will identify and express strengths about self and others
with 3 frequencies, (independent of teacher prompts and redirections) as
measured by self evaluation and peers.

Objectives:

16.Problem-Solving Skills

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will make appropriate decisions on a daily basis with
whole day frequency as measured by self evaluation and teacher observation.

Objectives:

Alternatives to Conflict
Goal: Gurkirat Singh will manage conflicts on a daily basis with two times a
day, independent of teacher support, with teacher support as measured by self
evaluation and parents’ observation.

Objectives:

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will control impulsive behaviour with 3 frequencies as


measured by peers, parents’ observation and self evaluation.

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will remain on task and work independently with 5
frequencies as measured by self evaluation and parents’ observation.

69.Transportation and Public Conduct

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will use appropriate behaviors while riding a vehicle (ex.,
bus) with all frequencies as measured by self evaluation.

Objectives:
70.Remain in seat with the seat belt fastened while the bus is in motion.
71.Keep hands and feet to self and inside the vehicle.
72.Speak in appropriate language, volume, tone or voice.
73.Respect rights and property of others on the bus.
74.Comply with the bus driver's directions.
75.Social/Interpersonal Skills

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will increase conversation skills to stick to the topic at
hand.

Objectives:

76.Gurkirat Singh will identify what happened first, in the middle, and last
regarding a previous read story, past event, or situation.
77.Gurkirat Singh will state the main idea of the story, video or situation 4/5
opportunities to do so.

Goal: Gurkirat Singh will develop social understanding skills as measured by the
benchmarks listed below.

Objectives:

78.Gurkirat Singh will engage in appropriate turn-taking skills by attending to
