AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE: IMPACT ON TRAFFIC

CASE STUDY OF NEW DELHI

This paper shall comprehensively analyse the effects of pods (autonomous vehicle). Opinion of
different stakeholders including government organizations as well as industry leaders and secondary
data in the form of reports, research studies, and media articles shall be used in the study.

The study aims to explore the reach of faster, greener and cheaper transport by opting travel of
office goers within city limits. It shall also explore the possibilities of mode of operation. It shall take
“New Delhi” as a case study.

Expected outcome of the study: Reduction in traffic by introduction of pods on Noida-Delhi route.
