Researchers define a Living Code of Ethics as “the cognitive, affective, and
behavioral manifestation of an ethical organizational identity within a
positive ethical organization.
Some gleaned moral capacity as, "A view of one's work role as ethical
responsibility to stakeholders, heightened awareness of the moral dimension
of issues and a learned capability for recognizing, reflecting upon, and
evaluating moral dilemmas.
Organizational identity is a central, enduring and distinctive characteristic of
an organization, although Some suggests possible elasticity in organizational
identity enhancing or constricting organizational identities.
Leaders can use five key organizational processes to build a Living Code.
