Step Description Procedure

1 Accessing Excel menus 1. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard

using the keyboard 2. Select the Keyboard shortcuts tab
3. in the LH box, select Keyboard and Text input
4. In the RH box, select Move focus to the menu bar
5. Select All controls at the bottom of the window

2 Enabling Ctrl + arrow 1. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard

keys 2. Select the Keyboard shortcuts tab
3. in the LH box, select Mission Control
4. In the RH box, deselect all options

3 Enabling Ctrl + space for 1. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard

highlighting columns 2. Select the Keyboard shortcuts tab
3. in the LH box, select Spotlight
4. In the RH box, disable Show spotlight search field

4 Disable auto complete 1. Go to Excel menu > Preferences…

2. Select Autocomplete
3. Deselect all options

5 Stay on same cell after 1. Go to Excel menu > Preferences…

Return 2. Select Edit
3. Deselect After pressing RETURN, move selection
