SVAR:

Aspiring Minds' SVAR helps evaluate a candidate’s spoken English skills. It is a telephone based
spoken English test that measures fluency, pronunciation, active listening, vocabulary, grammar and
spoken English understanding.

The candidate will be provided with a SVAR test form. She/he needs to call the given phone number
and follow the instructions to take the test. This Test will be done via mobile app with help of ear
phone.

Java:

Multi-choice test that measures the knowledge of basic Java constructs, OOP concepts, files and
exception handling and advanced Java concepts like generics, collections, threads, strings and
concurrency. This test assesses a candidate’s knowledge and understanding on the concepts of
Arrays & Data types, Oops, Interfaces, Files and Streams, Inner class, Generics, Collections and
Threads. Its computer-based test.

C++:

Multi-choice test that measures the knowledge of programming in the C++ language and the ability
to use the C++ standard library to write code. This test assesses a candidate’s knowledge and
understanding on the concepts of basics of C++, types and declarations, operator overloading,
pointers and arrays, Oops concepts, templates, exceptions, file and streams. Its computer based
test.

Python:
Multi-choice test that measures the knowledge of Python programming, databases, modules, and
library. Its computer based test.

ELQ (aptitude)+ Domain :

English Comprehension: The test evaluates candidates language abilities on vocabulary, grammar,
sentence structure and reading comprehension. Its computer based test.

Logical Reasoning Ability: The test measures a candidates logical reasoning – inductive and
deductive logical. The test is very useful in measuring the trainability and problem solving abilities of
candidates for more complex systems and processes. Its computer based test.

Quantitative Ability: The test evaluates mathematics concepts covering arithmetic reasoning,

Test Environment:
o You should be seated in an environment where the ambient noise is minimum.
o During the test your voice will be recorded and instruction will be played throughout, so you
should use a good quality headphone and microphone.
o You should speak as normally as possible and need not be conscious of giving your voice samples.
o Two candidates should not be seated within a 4 feet radius of each other. This is to ensure that the
voice of one candidate does not interfere with another candidates test.
o Before starting the test on your device, stop the audio playing from other apps.
o You should not make or receive call in between
o You should not login in multiple devices using the same SVAR ID

Very Important Note: Kindly don’t enter SVAR ID in SVAR Test APP for checking SVAR ID is working
or not and closing APP without taking Test it will also invalidate your test. Your SVAR ID is working
so no need to check. Start Test only when you are ready to start and complete the Test in one go.
And we don’t recommend pausing and resuming test because you may face issue like Test
invalidated. So please Complete Test in one go.

How to place your device?

• Place your device on a flat surface.
• Position it at a distance of 5 to 8 inches along your line of sight.
• Make sure that the volume is adjusted accordingly.

Audio Testing
• Make sure that the audio device is properly plugged in.
• Adjust the volume, if not done already.
• If problems persist, try a different audio device.

Microphone testing
• Make sure that the mic is configured properly.
• Make sure that the volume is adjusted accordingly.
• If the problem persists, try with a different microphone.

Please continue only if the results of audio and microphone testing feature in the test are
satisfactory.
