Exclusions A.DOCUMENTS AND MONEY

Deeds, bonds, les, drawing bills of exchange, promissory notes, cash bank notes, cheques, stamps or securities
for money.
B. DEFECTIVE MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP
The cost of replacement, repair or recti cation of defective material or workmanship but this exclusion shall be
limited to the items immediately aected and shall not be deemed to exclude damage to other items resulting
from an accident due to such defective material or workmanship.
C. GRADUAL DETERIORATION
Wear and tear, corrosion, oxidization, gradual deterioration or conditions normal to the environment.
DAMAGE TO TYRES
Damage to tyres unless the vehicle or plant is damaged at the same time.
F. COMPLETED PROPERTY
Damage (other than as set out in paragraph C of Section 1 of this policy) to the permanent works or any part
thereof which have been completed and handed over to the principal or in respect of which a certi cate of
completion has been issued.
G. EXISTING STRUCTURES
Damage to the existing structure not forming part of the contract works unless separately agreed.
H. PRINCIPAL’S RISK
Damage which under the conditions of contract is the responsibility of the principal.
I. UNEXPLAINED SHORTAGES
Damage unless this is identi able by the insured with a specic occurrence which has been the subject of
immediate noti cation in terms of Condition 5 of this policy.
J. CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES AND PENALTIES
Consequential loss of any kind, penalties under contract for delay, detention loss of use or losses arising in
connection with guarantees of performance or eciency or consequent upon rejection of the works or any
part thereof.
K. DEFECTIVE DESIGN
Defective design but this exception shall be limited to the items immediately aected and shall not be deemed
to exclude damage to other items resulting from an accident due to such defective design.
