Statement of the Problem

The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the coping mechanisms and
impact of modular learning on the mathematical skills development of STEM students in the secondary
schools of Tobias Fornier

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the coping mechanisms of STEM students in the secondary school when classified to;

 Gender
 Year level
 average grade
 Family status?

2. What is the impact of modular learning on the mathematical skills development of STEM students in
the secondary school when classified as;

 Gender
 Year Level
 Average grade?

3. What factors does affect the coping mechanism of the students regarding the problems of modular
learning on mathematical skill development of STEM students?

4. How does the impact of modular learning on the Mathematical skills contribute to the coping
mechanism of the students regarding the study?

5. Based on the findings of the study, What are the proposed redevelopment of modular learning of
STEM students?
