Removal and Installation Procedure revision date: 07/29/2019

Cruise Control Module (CCM)

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the front bumper cover.


Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

2.
Remove the air deflector.
1. Remove the pushpins.
2. Release the tabs and remove the air deflector.

3. Detach the wire harness retainers and disconnect the wiring connector.

4. NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphics for this step in the installation.

Remove the screws and the CCM and bracket.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install the screws in the following sequence

1. Install the CCM bracket screws.


Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
2. Install the CCM bracket screw.
Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
3. Install the CCM bracket screw.
Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)

3. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the CCM following the on-screen instructions.

4. Align the CCM.
