INTRODUCTION
From upadeshamrita sloka 9-11, according to gaudiya vaishnavas, radha kunda is very dear and
important to the devotees, because it is highly connected to Radha and Krishna. As we are
aware about the past time happened in Radha kunda, as well as the significance of Radha
kunda , by following the footsteps of the great acharyas, we have to worship the holy dham and
the kunda there, instead of settling there.

ANALYSIS
According to srila rupa goswami its is mentioned, advanced devotees prefer to reside ay Radha
kunda , because of the loving affairs between Radha and Krishna.

But according to srila prabhupad, there is no need of residing near to Radha kunda or in
vrindavana, but instead of that we can visit these places and holy dhams once in a year, and we
can serve the sadhus and holy places like radha kunda by offering arati, sprinkling holy water on
head and doing our japa near to kunda. So in this way everyone can charged up there spiritual,
battery and return to their respective places and do preaching and seva even more
enthusiastically than before. so in this way we can carry theses holy places in our heart always
and this is the attitude of srila prabhupad regarding the topic of residing near to Radha kunda
and vrindavan.
 Eg: In srimad bagavatham 9.4.68 it is mentioned that pure devotee is always
within the core of my heart and I am always in the heart of pure devotee

So from this statement itself we know that the lord is within the heart for pure devotees.
Therefore there is no need of buying a flat in holy dhams and staying there.

Now regarding bathing in the Radha kunda, prabhupad once told that those who don’t having
lusty desire in their mind can bath in Radha kunda and by saying this he enter into the kunda
and took his bath. As we all having that demon called lust in our heart we are not eligible to
take bath in the Radha kunda, but we can sprinkle water from the kunda on our head and we
can wear mud from the kunda as tilaka. Also we can remember the past times of radha Krishna
happened in radha kunda and feels the divine presence.

While doing all these sevas we have to absorb the kunda, the atmosphere near to the kunda ,
and the fragrance of that place In our heart and return to our own places and , help the
devotees for spreading the mission of lord Chaitanya.

By the help of srila prabhupad we all got that boon for understanding the deepest inner
meaning for every sloka.

CONCLUSION
In every sloka’s there will be 3 types of meaning will be there.

Shabdartham

Bhavartham

Lakyartham

In these 3 types we have to look for the bhavartham or purport of the sloka. So that we will get
the real meaning of sloka and can serve the vaishnava’s according to that, otherwise by going
through the shabdartham only we will misled or confuse. So this my thoughts in staying near
Radhakunda or bathing in Radha kunda..
