ENHANCED LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN REPORT

SY: 2021-2022

Rationale:
Following President Duterte’s decision to postpone limited face-to-face classes in basic education, the Department of Education
(DepEd) will continue to implement “enhanced blended learning” as it prepares for the opening school year 2021-2022. Through
the “Enhanced Learning Continuity Plan, SDO Baguio City strengthened its mandate to support and capacitate
schools and learning centers in ensuring a conducive learning environment through enhancement of schools learning
management systems (LMS). Committed to being able to continuously deliver quality education, SDO Baguio City
outlines the main modality and secondary learning modalities namely: Online Distance Learning (ODL), Two-way
MDL-P (combination of print and online) and Two- MDL-D (combination of online and digital modules).

SDO Baguio, including all the schools within its jurisdiction, adopts and integrates the health and safety standards
provided by the IATF and the DOH, in its operations. SDO Baguio sees to it that the office and schools adhere to the
required health standards to ensure a learning environment that is safe for the learners, the teachers, and other
school personnel.

In designing this plan, surveys were conducted among teachers, learners, schools and DepEd personnel and SWOT
was used to scan key areas that impact the delivery of services. With the guiding principles of the LCOP, this is
supported by a one-year implementation plan which was done through participatory approach by the internal
stakeholders.
