c) Purchase Order number any other number identification specified
in the Purchase Order.
d) Vendor's identifying shop order number and equipment serial
numbers.
e) Index sheets containing section titles.
f) Complete lists of enclosed reference drawings by title and
drawing number.

8.2.8 Operation and maintenance manuals shall be forwarded not later than 2
weeks after successful completion of all specified tests. They shall
include a section, if required, to cover special instructions at specified
extreme environmental conditions. The following shall also be
included in this manual:

a) Instructions covering start-up, normal shutdown, emergency

shutdown, operating limits, and routine operational procedures.

b) Description of compressor construction features and the

functioning of component parts or systems (such as control,
lubrication, and seal oil).

c) Outline and sectional drawings, schematic, and illustrative

sketches in sufficient detail to identify all parts and clearly show
the operation of all equipment and components and the methods
of inspection and repair. Standardized sectional drawings must
represent the actual construction of the compressor rather than
typical.

d) Instructions for erection, piping, alignment including anticipated

hot centerline shift between 15°C (60°F) ambient temperature
position and that at normal operating temperature), and preparing
the compressor and auxiliary equipment for use.
