introduction

In the fact file we will talk about the facts of the surveys on stereotypes in
Japan, Show and we will compare it with the reality of the research we carry

clothing: Most of the participants think that the dress in Japan is traditional, or

they wear casual clothes for day to day and traditional clothes for the holidays.

personality: in terms of personality most believe that the japanese are very
respectful, polite, disciplined and very intelligent. also that they are boring,
and that they can be rude.

physical appearance: The people surveyed believe that the Japanese have
white skin, they are thin, with slanted black eyes, straight black hair. A little
less than half say that they are ugly, and their stature varies between being
short and tall.

hobbies: Respondents responses were that hobbies are working, studying,


exercising, taking photos, and meditating.
real facts

food: Japanese food consists of a plate of rice or as it is called gohan, one of


pickle or okasu. A food conformed to one plate is called ichiju sansai, the most
popular foods in japan are sushi, ramen, udon and soba, bento. The Japanese
have used insects for food since ancient times. But today, many Japanese
have stopped this custom, so eating insects is not so common anymore.

clothing: In Japan there is a diversity of clothes, we have traditional clothes


usually used by old people, modern clothes such as lolita, japanese school
uniforms that are used by young people, cosplay and standart clothes. the
Japanese way of dressing is usually very correct. women tend to wear all
high-heeled shoes, and most of them wear skirts or dresses, or baggy pants.
Their clothes do not usually reveal a lot of skin. A striking aspect of the
Japanese, and Japan in general, is the lack of odors. The Japanese do not give
off the smell of perfumes, just like the shops. They tend to wear very subtle
perfumes so as not to disturb the people around them.

personality: The Japanese are very friendly, disciplined, they also respect
personal space a lot so they will never ask you intimate questions, they are
traditional and superstitious. Cleanliness is also very important to them; They
are very honest with their country and very polite. they are the oldest in the
world.

physical appearance: The Japanese have an average height of 1.70 m in


height, they are generally thin, their complexion is yellow and they have
slanted eyes representative of the Asian continent, their hair is black and
straight. aesthetically women are considered beautiful and men not so much.

hobbies: Japanese people usually entertain themselves by going to karaoke


with friends. The main hobbies are golf, baseball, darts, billiards, and bowling.
They also like to go shopping. Video games and manga are one of the most
watched hobbies among teenagers.

Reflection

People tend to think that Japan is a strange country, and that they have
strange customs, or from what I could see I think that most people do not
know much about Japan. I sincerely believe that Japan is a country with a lot
of culture and tradition. The Japanese are disciplined, people who take care of
their country. It is also distinguished by being particularly quirky and creative.
