CULTURE

A culture adored by the standard-bearers of geekism, anime, the different and quirky, but
also a culture of good gastronomy, and lover of forms and appearance, the beautiful and
the beautiful, of harmony, tranquility and silence, of respect. As you can see, a different
culture, very different from what we are used to due to our Latin character.
Japanese traditional costume: Kimono and Yukata
Within the Japanese traditions we find the most characteristic clothing, we talk about the
kimono and the yukata. For those of you who don't know, kimono literally means “to
wear” although today its meaning has been relegated to the traditional Japanese
costume. We could talk a lot about these costumes that even though they are traditional
costumes, they are garments very commonly used by the Japanese. It is not uncommon to
see couples or girls in groups strolling through central Tokyo dressed in their kimonos or
yukatas, depending on the context and the time of year.
The Japanese wear the yukata more often than the kimono. The first one is made of
cotton and is thinner, more comfortable and cheaper. To distinguish them there is nothing
easier than looking at the legs, the kimono reaches the ground and only reveals the feet
tucked in socks.
Japanese education
Another of the many Japanese curiosities is the way in which they greet each other.
Reverence is their usual greeting, and although it may be exaggerated for us, for them it is
basic.
Japanese food
Japanese cuisine has positioned itself in recent years as one of the best in the world, one
of the healthiest, most varied and delicious. Probably his best known "dish" is sushi. But
you would be wrong if you thought this is all food in Japan has to offer. These are some
dishes that you can find in Japan:

 Sushi (寿司)
 Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き)
 Ramen (ラーメン)
 Yakisoba (焼きそば)
 Yakitori (焼き鳥)
 Takoyaki (たこ焼)

How to eat in Japan?

According to the list that we have just proposed of the best Japanese food dishes, not all
of them need to master the art of Japanese chopsticks, although it is something very fun.
Believe it or not, it is not so difficult to eat with chopsticks, you just have to take the trick
and then it is a piece of cake, with more or less grace that depends on the skill of each
one.
The job
To begin with, it must be understood that Japanese society gives a role of direct relevance
to work, and that is that there is directly proportional to the largest number of working
hours with a better consideration as a good employee. It is popularly considered that
when you enter to work in a company in Japan you become property of it…. that's the way
things are, that's why the stipulated schedule is never met, since they can't go home
before the boss.
A separate issue is the issue of vacations, according to Japanese law you are entitled to 10
days of paid vacation the first year as long as you have attended work 80% of the days for
6 months, it is increased one day per year until you reach the maximum , 20 annual days
of vacation.
What is an onsen?
There are several enclosures where there are pools at different temperatures, generally
hot springs -remember that in Japan volcanoes abound, and therefore the hot springs-,
where the Japanese will spend the day or in the case of smaller Onsen or hotels, to relax
in the morning or at night.
It is a very specific purification ritual, separated by sex and to be attended without a
bathing suit, they must first be washed with showers and then proceed to bath in the
thermal pools.
