Q) Documentation of recreational areas-case study neighborhood park?

Aspects for the study-Locational importance, extent of the area, approach road networks,

important landmarks and their influence on the park, nearby bus stops, railway stations etc.

parking facilities, extent of the park in acres, security and CCTV surveillance, ticketing (daily,

monthly, and annual passes), management, safety and security, theme of the design-internal

layout of the park-water bodies, children’s play area, parks, rock gardens, viewpoints,

sanctuaries, jogging tracks, eateries, flora, and faunae. Seating arrangement, fencing, islands,

facilities for the elderly and physically challenged people, plantations-medicinal, herbal and any

specific type of design followed, lighting, pathways, water sports, financially position, user

group satisfaction, role of the government and municipal authorities in maintaining the park etc.
