CHAPTER 1

Department of Education Mission, Vision, and Core Values C

Statement H
Our vision is more than just the end-goal of a plan. It is a dream, a
A
wish, a prayer – what we fervently hope for and what we diligently work P
towards. By envisioning, the DINARAYAT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL begins to
fulfill the mandate and responsibilities as the prime movers of the
T
succeeding generations. We want to develop learners who are true citizens E
and patriots, who have a strong desire to serve their country and work for its
betterment. We can do two things: inculcate the values and develop the
R
necessary competencies deemed necessary and desirable to ensure a lifelong
learning.
1
Because as a learner-centered institution, we are aiming to improve
themselves and realize their dreams, while keeping in mind and heart their
love for the country and care for fellowmen, maximizing the endowment of
skills and talents, not for selfish gain, but to contribute to building a nation
every Filipino deserves.
As stated in our mandate, the Department of Education (DepEd),
“shall protect and promote the rights of all citizens to quality education at all
levels, and shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to
all”. In all our decisions and actions, we put the Filipino learner first. In the
end, our most important stakeholders are our learners. We constantly seek
to be better, both as individuals and as an organization.
The administration, the teachers, the FPTA, the Supreme Pupil
Government and the community of the Brgy. Dinarayat formulate,
implement, and coordinate policies, plans, programs, and projects in areas
of formal and non-formal basic education. In all our decisions and actions,
we put our learners first.
Through time, our learners have changing needs and the school must
adapt and be better to serve them better.
In accordance to these demands, the School Planning Team and the
stakeholders formulate need- based plans to address the needs of the pupils,
the faculty and the facilities of the school. The SPT aspires to cater these
needs of the school community through maximizing school’s access to
various entities.
As to the school community’s understanding to the DepEd’s Vision,
Mission, and Core Values Statement, there is a consensus that the pupils
must be catered with the opportunities really intended for them. The
programs of the school must be anchored to the principles embedded in the
DepEd’s VMCV statements. In realization of these, it is expected to increase
the number of enrolment, to heighten the achievements in various academic
examinations, to thrive on the curricular and non- curricular aspects of
learning, to enhance the facilities of the school, and to maximize the skills of
the teachers in teaching and devising developmentally appropriate materials
and approaches in imparting learnings to the pupils.
