 INDUSTRIES
Industries are part of
secondary activity. Secondary
activities or manufacturing
converts raw material into
products of more value to
people. Industry refers to
economic activities concerned
with the production of goods,
extraction of services and
provision or services.
The industries are of three
type
primary industries,
 secondary industries and
tertiary industries
PRIMARY
INDUSTRIES
POTATO CHIPS
Potatoes are grown in a farm by
the farmers or by the farm
operator. The growing of potatoes
in a large is very important for
production of the potato chips.
Potatoes are grown and harvested
in a step by step method in farm
extractive industry. Seeds are
planted under the soil and then
proper pesticides and proper
herbicides are given to the plant
for the good growth and before
plant the seeds proper manure and
proper components are added to
the soil to make it more fertile and
good for the growth.

After growing potatoes in the farm

extractive industries industry need
more things and more ingredients
to make potato chips. The basic
thing required for making is salt
because it will add some taste to it.
Salt is produce by natural sources
and can be taken from the natural
resources. The source for getting
salt is sea, rock and sand. Salt can
be taken from sea by the process
of evaporation or by the process of
distillation. Salt is taken and is
used in industry.
Now to make potato chips we need
to fry them into the oil and without
frying them we cannot make
potato chips and for frying them
we need oil and we will get oil
from oil seeds like soybean,
sunflower, etc. so for that we plant
soya bean plants in a large amount
and harvest them in tons so that we
can make oil from them.
The primary industry produce raw
material for secondary industries
so that the produce the product in a
good manner and their will no
work load on secondary industry.
SECONDARY
INDUSTRIES
In making the product available to
the consumer secondary industries
plays a vital role because all
products and good are produce
here. All the raw material we get
from primary industry is used
here.
So the potatoes which we have
grown and harvested will be used
here and now they will washed
and will clean before getting shred
into pieces. Warehousing has
helped us in storing potatoes. Now
they will be shred into pieces in
the manufacturing industries also
their peel will also be taken out.
The process of making the chips is
started.
So the raw salt which we have
taken from the sea or rock in
primary industry will be refined
and all the impurities will be
cleared so that they should have a
safe and good product. The basic
objective of a customer
satisfaction is to give right product
and safe product so that they buy it
again.

We can see that primary industry

has given us the raw material and
we will make it finished product.
Now the oil seeds which have
taken from primary industry now
will be crushed in the machine to
make oil from them. Oil plant will
buy oil seeds from the farmer and
which will help them also to earn
money by selling which will be a
welfare for human.
Now we have taken oil from oil
seeds and now we will start the
process of making potato chips.
We have also washed and shred
potato into pieces and now we will
start frying them in the big
containers in manufacturing
industry.
The potato chips will be fried and
then it will go for adding salt and
other spices in the mixing
industry. The flavor will be added
in the chips differently and the
chips will be will be made of a
different flavor so that their will a
choice for customer to choose
chips according to their needs.

Tertiary industry helps the primary
and secondary industry to make
the available to the customer
