Transformator

Trafo atau Transformator adalah konverter daya yang mentransfer energi listrik dari
satu sirkuit ke yang sirkuit berbeda melalui konduktor yang digabungkan secara induktif.
Ini adalah perangkat listrik atau komponen yang mengubah jumlah tegangan.
Trafo(transformator) secara luas digunakan dalam peralatan listrik, terutama perubahan
kebutuhan atau penyesuaian besarnya tegangan bolak-balik. Misalnya, radio membutuhkan
12 volt sedangkan listrik perumahan umum adalah 220 volt, sehingga trafo diperlukan untuk
mengubah 220 volt tegangan bolak-balik ke 12 volt. Lain beberapa contoh dari peralatan
listrik yang perlu transformator sebuah TV, komputer, mesin fotokopi, dan gardu listrik.

 UPS APC

UPS (uninterruptible power supply) sesuai dengan namanya maka fungsi utama dari UPS adalah sebagai
backup power dan mensupply power yang tersimpan ke seluruh perangkat yang terhubung dengannya
ketika terjadi kegagalan daya listrik utama. jadi seakan-akan ups ini sebagai perangkat yang tidak bisa
diinterupsi dan bekerja secara otomatis mensupply power/listrik ketika supply daya dari listrik utama
terhenti, namun UPS tidak bisa serta merta mengganti fungsi supply utama listrik dikarenakan
keterbatasan kapasitas penyimpanan battery-nya, serta output yang bisa dihandle UPS.

Berikut beberapa fungsi dari UPS yang bisa anda dapatkan :

1. Fungsi utama UPS, Memberikan energi listrik yang telah tersimpan sebelumnya pada UPS/Battry
dimana sifatnya sementara dan otomatis ketika terjadi kegagalan daya pada listrik
utama (Mati Lampu, Dll).
2. Mengamankan sistem komputer dan perangkat dari pemilik UPS yang terhubung, sebagaimana kita
ketahui putusnya aliran listrik secara mendadak terkadang dapat memberikan efek yang cenderung
merusak secara software dan hardware.
3. Memberikan kesempatan waktu yang cukup untuk segera menghidupkan genset sebagai pengganti
listrik utama.
4. Memberikan kesempatan waktu yang cukup untuk segera melakukan back up data dan mengamankan
sistem operasi (OS) dengan melakukan shutdown sesuai prosedur ketika listrik utama mati.
5. UPS secara otomatis dapat melakukan stabilisasi tegangan (Fungsi dari Stabilizer) ketika terjadi
perubahan tegangan pada input sehingga tegangan output yang digunakan oleh sistem komputer
berupa tegangan Yang stabil.
6. UPS dapat melakukan diagnosa dan management terhadap dirinya sendiri sehingga memudahkan
pengguna untuk mengantisipasi jika akan terjadi gangguan terhadap sistem.
7. User friendly dan mudah dalam installasi.
8. Pengguna dapat melakukan kontrol UPS melalui jaringan LAN dengan menambahkan beberapa
aksesoris yang diperlukan.
9. Dapat diintegrasikan dengan jaringan internet.
10. Noti ikasi jika terjadi kegagalan dengan melakukan pengaturan perangkat lunak UPS management.
