a. To tell activities we do everyday/habit

We often use adverbs of frequency (always, usually, sometimes, seldom)

Examples:

I play tennis every Tuesday.

She goes to the coffee shop twice in a week.

Do you smoke?

b. To show something in general or always true

Examples:

People need food and drink.

It doesn't always snow in winter here.

Two and two make four.

c. We use this tense for a situation that we think is more or less permanent.

Examples:

Where do you live?

She works in an International bank.

I have allergic of mushroom.


d. We use simple Present in most of English conversation such as talking about weather, giving direction,
tell the time).

Examples:

Open the box on the table and take out the present.

You go right then you find gas station, the bank is on the corner.

Do you think we turn right or left?
