★ BOSS: Nelida Ramirez.

WAITRESS: Good afternoon, Miss Nelida Ramirez.

BOSS: Good afternoon, Nancy.

WAITRESS: Please, Right this way!

BOSS: Thank you! and tell me, What do you recommend me for today?

WAITRESS: Today, we have your favorite dish, arroz con pato.

BOSS: Great! I will have it. Also, I want to drink chicha morada.

WAITRESS: Okay. Is there anything else?

BOSS: Oh, yes! Also I want Ceviche.

WAITRESS: You want arroz con pato as a main dish, chicha morada, and ceviche. Okay.
Could you wait for 15 minutes?

BOSS: Sure, no problem.

LUIS AND BRIAN: Good afternoon!

WAITRESS: Good afternoon, gentlemen. Welcome to “El Baratie” Restaurant. Do you have
a reservation?

BRIAN: No. We don’t. Do you have a table for two?

WAITRESS: sorry! we’re full now. Could you wait for a while? Please

BOSS: Mr. Cordova and Cabrera! Good afternoon.

BRIAN: Boss? What a coincidence!

BOSS: Nice to see you. Join me for lunch!


WAITRESS: Common, sit down, please.

BRIAN: Thank you so much, Ms. Ramirez.

LUIS: Thank you, Miss. It’s a pleasure to have a meal with you.

BOSS: Well guys, order your meal. This place is the best in the area and it’s famous because
of the traditional Peruvian food.

BRIAN: Really? Actually it’s my first time here, indeed Luis recommended me this place.

LUIS: Yeah. I’m a regular customer. Could I have the menu, please?

WAITRESS: Of course, here you go.

BRIAN: I’d like to try Peruvian food, Can I have Lomo saltado?

WAITRESS: Yes. Anything to drink?

BRIAN: I’ll have a medium diet coke.

LUIS: I want to have a roasted chicken, and for drinking, pisco sour.

WAITRESS: Okay, for you, Lomo saltado and a medium diet coke and for you, a roasted
chicken and pisco sour. Could you wait for 15 minutes, please?

LUIS: Yes, no problem.

BOSS: Ok guys, tell me, how is our new collaborator doing?

THEY EAT THE MEAL…

BOSS: How do you feel about your dish? was it good?

BRIAN: It was not what I expected but I am satisfied.

LUIS: To tell the truth, It was very good.

BOSS: Yes. As always, the food was really delicious. Well, I have a meeting in twenty minutes,
so I have to go to the office.

BRIAN: Okay Ms. Ramirez, thank you for sharing your table with us. See you on Monday.

LUIS: Take it easy, boss.

BOSS: Nancy, Could I have the check, please?

WAITRESS: Sure. Miss Ramírez, your bill is s/ 60.

BOSS: Okay, here you go.

BRIAN: Could I have the check?

LUIS: Well, I invited you, Brian. I’ll pay it.

BRIAN: Thank you so much, bro!

WAITRESS: Okay… So, the bill of you two is s/ 112. Do you want to pay with credit card or
cash?

LUIS: Cash. keep the change.

WAITRESS: Thank you!
