Activity 2: Reflection
The Best friends with different religions
When I was in junior high, I have a friend with a different religion. Her name is Angel; her
religion is Iglesia ni Cristo. I didn’t know her religion at first. One day we went to my house to
do our project, when we came we eat first before doing our project. The food in our house is rice
and dinuguan. When we will eat she hesitates to eat the food dinuguan, I am confused why. Then
I was shocked when she told me that they are not allowed to eat dinuguan because of her
religion. She said that she didn’t tell me immediately because she was shy and afraid to offend
me or something. When I already know, I apologized and cooked other dishes for us. We became
best friends and we just laugh when we remember that moment.
