Quality Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities
Understand the functional aspects of the clients’ requirement.
Estimate velocity / user story / effort / product backlog.
Creation of unit test cases for the user stories developed.
Creation of automated Test scripts/ Regression Execution of Test Suite using Automation Tools like
Selenium/ UFT/ SOAP UI.
Create & publish status reports (# of scripts automated / executed, defects raised, defects retested etc.).
 Develop & customize automation frameworks like SPOCK, Junit.
Provide periodic task level updates as required.
Assisting in creating documentations & best practices.
Work alongside developer and help in fixing low priority defects.
Develop medium/ low priority user stories.
Support developers with simple html styles.
