TOYOTA PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM

JDESCRIPTION
D A TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system is provided as standard equipment on models for Thailand and
Vietnam with automatic transmission, and all models for Indonesia and G.C.C Countries.
D This system operates with the ignition switch ON, clearance warning switch ON, and the shift lever in the
“R” position.
D When the vehicle approaches an obstacle behind, the clearance warning ECU detects the presence of the
obstacle through the ultrasonic sensors that are provided on the rear bumper. Then, the clearance warning
ECU sounds the clearance warning buzzer in order to warn the driver.
D This system consists of the clearance warning ECU, clearance warning switch, ultrasonic sensors and
clearance warning buzzer.
