ATTENTION: To correctly print this document, strictly follow all instructions outlined in the iQ Check Tool Setup Guide PDF provided with this tool.
This tool is designed to help you troubleshoot a range of image quality issues. The various tests on this page can help you determine if your calibrated print system (Printer and RIP) is producing quality
prints with correctly processed colours, text and vector elements. Carefully study the printed results of this tool and compare them with your own image quality issue. If this print exhibits the same issue
then please report your findings to a Fuji Xerox Technical Support Representative to discuss if your print system may require servicing. If the issue does not appear then you may need to make adjust-
ments to your job’s print settings or to the file you are processing. Please check the Customer Expectation Document for all your machine’s specifications and tolerances. The iQ Check Tool User Guide

This carefully constructed image, using a series of alternating, vertical, RGB and CMYK strips - (see diagram below) can also
be used to help you determine if your RIP’s colour management is processing colours as expected.
Check: Can you see any visible difference in colour between the RGB and CMYK printed strips?
If your colour management workflow is set up correctly there should be almost no visible difference between the strips (ie.
it appears as one complete image).

NOTE: you might find a very slightly detectable difference in the
orange, yellow or dark blue shirts. With some RIPs there is no

between the RGB and CMYK strips.
