COURSE SYLLABUS

Course Description/ Objectives:

This course is intended to expose the MBA students to the “ethical standards” in
the business organization. Thus, this course will assist them in the identification and
application on how should business be in the light of the ongoing controversies in ethical
business operations. Finally, there will be discussions on Philippine laws that would have
an impact on business ethics application.

Doing the Right Thing: Ethics and Business Can Co-exist (Message
of Manuel V. Pangilinan during the MAP Awarding Ceremony);

Course Requirements:

1. Each student will be assigned to report on a topic and must cite actual business
practices/ issues as basis for class discussion.
2. The course will make use of the Case Study Method. Written Analysis of the Case
must be submitted for each major topic.
3. Students will submit learning insights for each major topic
4. Final Examination
