Like for example, I would like to know the performance of all junior high school students
in Filipino. And by that the teacher or researcher need to collect a necessary data in the students.
So by this statistics is used to draw a certain conclusion. Without this we cannot statistically
analysed the data being gathered. So I must ay that statistics has a vital role in engaging research
for education, most likely in teaching and learning process. Statistics helps the teacher to give an
accurate description of the data. 2. It makes the teacher definite and exact in procedures and
thinking: Sometimes due to lack of technical knowledge the teachers become vague in describing
pupil's performance.
