Setting: The story is set in an ocean in Sat- Yug i.e. thousands of years ago to help Gods from the
demons.

The Story:

 Beginning: In a war with the demons, Lord Vishnu asked the Gods to churn the ocean of milk
after adding medicinal herbs into it to get the Nectar of immortality. They were advised to
use Mount Mandarachal as a churning stick & Vasuki (king of serpents) as a rope to turn the
mountain.

 Middle: Lord Vishnu became a tortoise and then, Dhanvantari emerged from the ocean bed
with a pot of nectar in his hand. The demons forgot about the nectar as they were
mesmerized by beauty of the most beautiful woman Mohini who was Lord Vishnu himself in
a disguised form.

 End: Later, the demons were furious as they were deceived; the Gods had consumed all the
nectar. There was a terrible war between them; however, the powerful Gods drove them
away.

My favourite event: In the story, my favourite part is when Lord Vishnu took the form of a gigantic
turtle. It was Lord Vishnu’s second incarnation to uphold dharma in the universe.
