SUMMARY

The film illuminates us in regards to the biography of our public legend, Jose Rizal.
It reveals his life from his youth until his execution because of the Spanish colonizers,
who involved Philippines for a very long time. We are additionally tossed into the universe
of Rizal’s books; along these lines we get a peephole into the life of the famous Filipino
writer. Rizal, who was abused by the Spaniards previously, forfeited his life to fight for
the rights of the "Children of the People" The Katipunan's tear their 'cedulas' that
represents to end the entirety of their binds with Spain and solidarity with unrest. Rizal
did this because of affection love for his family and comrades and that he didn't lament
surrendering things which was essential to him to help our country.

Rizal had distributed books like the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, as his
weapons against the territories of Spain in our country. The Katipunan's tear their
'cedulas' that represents to end the entirety of their binds with Spain and solidarity with
unrest. Rizal accepted that training is significant, however what is important most is the
way you have taken in the things in your day-to-day life. In the film, Rizal's mom was
blamed for endeavoring to harm her sister-in-law and she was detained for nearly two
years. Paciano exhorted him not to utilize 'Mercado' any longer, and just 'Rizal' He turned
into a doctor, and he restored his mom's eye disease. He also became a writer and
expounded on the current status of the country.

Rizal's books invigorated uprisings in our nation and a few duplicates of it were
scorched by the ministers. Rizal went to Europe to contemplate medication and do
whatever is important to assist with freeing individuals, as mentioned by Paciano. He left
Leonor (his cousin and his darling) and his family to help his kindred comrades. Luis
accepted that as an author, what he did isn't craftsmanship, yet publicity. He shielded
that what the Filipinos truly needed is acknowledgment that Filipinos are equivalent with
Spaniards and serene changes.

Rizal was banished at Dapitan and there he met Josephine Bracken. Monsignor
Nosaleda isn't battled with the outcast of Rizal, and he needed him dead. He requested
that Governor General Blanco execute Rizal yet decline to do as such. The transformation
started notwithstanding Rizal’s dissatisfaction. Filipinos joined the uprisings and we have
accomplished freedom on June 12, 1896. We are not yet prepared, and it isn't the ideal
opportunity. He had battled for his standards regardless of how hard it is.

REACTION

The film Jose Rizal, in which Cesar Montano played the lead role, was a
heartwarming one that depicted how Rizal ran his life. I felt conflicted because it was
created to help us, Filipinos, understand what our national hero had done for the country.
Rizal's willingness to give up his own life demonstrates how much he loves his mother
country. It depicts a great explanation of Philippine history, nationalism, and heroism in
a nonviolent manner; however, there were times when the characters spoke in Spanish
and I couldn't understand them unless I read the subtitles.

This is a cruel world. Money and power have the ability to control people. At the
same time, I'm perplexed; I have a slew of unanswered questions in my head. What if
Rizal did not fight for Filipinos? Are we still under the control of those evil tyrants? Those
questions are still bothering me. What if Rizal did not perish? Would it have remained the
same? Even though I'm muddled, there's one thing that matters right now: the freedom
that we had. The freedom to speak, write, and fly that no one can take away from you
except yourself.

I admired Jose Rizal for his bravery, not for his strength, but for the confidence he
had in writing about all the devilish acts of Spaniards and spreading them around the
world. Aside from Heneral Luna, I've never admired any of the Heroes, but he truly is
amazing. How could he cope with all of his life's difficulties?

Despite this, we continued to live our lives, thanks to our forefathers' sacrifices for
our liberty. I can feel their sympathy as blood is spilled and people weep. As a young
person, I am challenged to do better. Our Heroes gave their lives for us not for nothing,
but for something. Our youth are our future.
REFLECTION

The film is about the Spanish government and Jose Rizal's life, during which he
faced challenges that shaped him into the man he became. The film's main character,
Jose Rizal, was played by Cesar Montano. The film tells the story of Rizal's exile in prison.
He was imprisoned by the Spaniards for having written two novels, NoliMe Tangere and
El Filibusterismo, as well as being accused of starting a revolution. Rizal encounters a
series of flashbacks as he meets Taviel, a Spanish soldier in charge of Rizal's case. Taviel
discovered Rizal's innocence. However, the Friars, who were the main target of his books,
wanted Rizal to die.

The courtroom scene in which Rizal defends himself and the execution scene at
Bagumbayan are the highlights of the film, but there are other scenes that stand out for
me. Rizal had three children: a son, a brother, and a friend. He had been taught and
raised to be a responsible person. His mother taught him a little Spanish and he was later
sent to a local school. He first encountered Spanish abuse there. He was sent to Europe
to study medicine because her mother had an eye problem, so he was motivated to
succeed while studying abroad. Paciano, his brother, had been a motivator for him to do
better in school because he had witnessed the Spaniards' brutality.

It has a lot of events happen in this movie that will give lesson to us. and will
change our perception on why Rizal and other Filipinos sacrifice their life for our country.
Why Rizal use pen and paper and Bonifacio use bolo and gun to fight to the Spaniards.
This movie answered all doubts in our national heroes.
CONCLUSION
The movie Jose Rizal reminds us on how our national heroes fight for our country.
They sacrifice their life to bring back the freedom and to get back our country. A lot of
challenges, sacrifices, and life that they risk and faced. But they didn’t lose in faith and
hope that they can get back our own country. They can see how Rizal’s work become the
eye opener to other Filipino people before. Those literary works are become the swords
or equipment to informed everyone to the wrong doing of the colonizer in our country
even in our lives.

That’s why we always honor the heroes that will sacrifice their life for our country.
Honor and respect to the country and people to bring back the freedom that we want.
The movie has a lot of messages that until now we can use and apply in our life as a
Filipino citizen in this country.
