I have often found myself living for other people in a way that hurt me.

It’s easy to fall into this trap,

especially when we are bombared with messages that tell us taking care of ourself is selfish. But the
truth is we cant’t help anyone if we aren’t well. So whydo we put so much weight on what people think
of us, especially those who have so little to do with our daily lives?

We can too easily base our decisions on the fear of what people will think of us. Should we not live our
life based on what we think first? Other people are quick to give advice because they don’t have to deal
with the consequence of being wrong when we take action on it. Why should another person’s opinion
trump our own when they do not have to live our life?
