Ans. A theme is applied on a computer to change the appearance of the Desktop, Dialog
boxes, and Windows. The steps of changing the themes are as follows:
I. Open the Control Panel.
II. Default (Large Icons) view of the Control Panel. Here, click the Personalization.

III. If you are in the Category view of control panel, click the Appearance and
Personalization Personalization.
IV. A window appears. Select the required theme. You will observe the changes. Click
the Close button to come out of the Control Panel window.
2. How do you change mouse pointer? Give steps.
Ans. A small arrow on the computer screen is called mouse pointer. The shape of the
mouse pointer can easily be changed by using the following steps:
I. Open the Control Panel.
II. Default (Large icons) view of the Control Panel appears. Click the Mouse option.

3. Write steps to create a playlist in Windows Media Player.

Ans. A playlist provides lots of flexibility to help you find, organize and play just the music
that you want to listen to, according to the criteria you set. To create a playlist, follow
these steps:
I. Select double arrow to the right of Stream button.
II. Select the option Create Playlist Create Playlist.
III. An Untitled playlist tab appears in edit mode underneath the Playlist heading in the
Navigation pane.
IV. Type in new name of the playlist and press Enter key.
V. Browse the Library to add items in your playlist. You can add items by dropping
them on the Playlist name in the Navigation pane,.
