Moving on, the cost structure of our mobile application is divided into variable costs and fixed costs.

Variable costs include:

 Costs for the app’s functional services, which are the costs for running the app’s functions and
features, like taking and uploading photos, searching, messaging, changing usernames, or using
third party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), etc. APIs, by the way, is the sharing of the
applications' data and functionality to external third-party developers, business partners, and
internal departments within the companies, specifically this will be applicable to the online
vegetable shop and plant identifier features of this app;
 Maintenance Costs, which are the costs of updating app’s features/functions, monitoring user
activities, bug fixing, app hosting services, etc.;
 Continuous payments for license fees, which of course differ over time; and,
 Engagement and Marketing costs for continuous promotion and branding.

Fixed costs, on the other hand, include:

 Salaries of Architects, developers, and Engineers, for the services they give like monitoring user
activities, data collection, and testing;
 Administrative expenses like rent expenses of the office, office employees’ salaries, electricity
bills, internet bills, etc.; and,
 Maintenance costs for equipment, specifically computers, which is done monthly or annually.
