1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The blissful candles is a business which produces the organic candles made up
of beeswax which clean the air by releasing the negative ions which bind with
toxins and help remove them from air. Furthermore these candles are infused
with tea tree oil which is the ideal and natural sanitizer as it kills several
common bacteria and viruses which are air borne and essential oils such as
patchouli, spearmint, neroli etc. which are known as calming essential oils and
helps in reducing anxiety and stress. The blissful candles aims to solve the
sanitizing and clean air and producing calming atmosphere by using the
candles. Although there are other products for these problems such as sanitizers
for anti-bacterial and anti-viral infections and other anxiety related issues we
have consultants and doctors but these candles are a more natural, convenient
and organic way solving these problems. The main objective is to provide clean,
fresh and calming atmosphere around people and the key ingredients used are
just beeswax and essential oils. The main target of the business are offices and
people who stay at home most of the time i.e. housewives. Whereas the major
stakeholders are the consumers, suppliers and distributors.

2. COMPANY OVERVIEW
Mission statement: To clean and disinfect the air and creating a calming and
soothing stress free atmosphere.
Company history: The back story of starting the business is anxiety and stress
are common these days and cause irritability, depression, problems with sleeping
and eating habits, anger etc. so to reduce this effect the simple natural and organic
ways can be a candle only. Another reason is the fresh, clear and antibacterial and
antiviral effect of the candle, since we all know that viruses like corona will be
staying with us forever so these candles can contribute in preventing the air borne
viruses and infections.
Markets and services: The target market for these candles would be the people
who stay in offices/office cabins and females who stay indoors. Although the
product is beneficial and can be used in every household.
Operational structure: The operations included are just the making and
development of product and the packaging of it. Can be done by single person
only but employees can be employed if needed
Financial goals: The startup capital needed would be the capital used to produce
the candles batch, the budgets of the business is not so high i.e. moderate and
business is for profit and society both.

3. BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Keeping in mind the problems in the society the problems the blissful candles
helps in solving the problems identified. The blissful candles is focusing on two
major aspects first is disinfecting and sanitizing effect of these candles and the
second one is to help in reducing the stress level and depression, anxiety.
Opportunity: As the time will pass the virus like corona will reduce its
severity and will become a normal disease like influenza but still people will
have to take safety measure to prevent themselves from such viruses, there
can be also other viruses which can be air borne. So in this situation these
candles can contribute in cleaning the air around us, a small initiative can
help in protection so this problem can be solved.
Also in Pakistan, the average total prevalence of depression
and anxiety established on public samples is 33.62%, with a point prevalence
of 45.5% amongst females and 21.7% amongst males causing many
problems for the people. So there’s opportunity for products like these
candles to help producing the calming effect and atmosphere working as
therapeutic candles.
Key participants: The partners can be the beeswax and essential oil
suppliers. Whereas the printing and packaging manufacturers will contribute.
The distribution can be done by the delivery agencies or by store to store
distribution

Industry type: The business belongs to the candle industry or can be taken
as type of service industry. The candles are organic not using paraffin wax
so cannot be counted in petroleum industry. .

5. OPERATING PLAN
Payment: Payment plans include the COD Cash on delivery or through bank
directly (Jazz cash, Easy paisa, Other Banks etc.)
Key customers: The key customers identified are the office workers and
households, the niche can also contribute in revenues of the company.
Key employees and organization: The key employees can be the producers
or the staff responsible in efficient delivery of the products. The financial and
marketing staff can also be the key employees as their skills matter.

6. MARKETING AND SALES PLAN
Key messages: Key message that will attract the target customers are that
these candles are organic and cause no harm as they have no chemicals or
petroleum ingredients. Secondly they clean the air, disinfect air, kills
airborne viruses and bacteria providing a sanitizing effect without alcohol
base. Most important of all is these candles have soothing and calming effect
which helps in reducing anxiety, depression and stress.
Marketing activities:
• Media advertising (newspaper, magazine, television, radio)
• Joint advertising with other companies, books e stores, book fairs &
stalls.
• Digital marketing such as social media, email marketing, SEO, or
blogging
• Provide limited promotional discounts
• Sponsor bloggers, community events as complementary service
• Do free work for local non-profits and libraries.
Sales strategy: The business relies on word of mouth, however can provide
the discount on buying the products in bulk in order to promote sales. As the
company needs no salesperson in the start so no commission plans on sales.

7. FINANCIAL PLAN
The financial plan of the company contributes all types of cost that will be
required to start a business. It includes the production cost, operational cost,
marketing and advertising costs, employee’s salary, the raw materials etc. The
projected total cost is presented in the table below:

business will be started at smaller scale in the start so employees required will
be lower, the software’s and web cost will be one time, similarly.
