Company objectives are measurable and accurately describe the actions necessary
to complete a task. Objectives define the methods your company will use to achieve
sales success, customer service standards, branding opportunities, and any other
measurable goals. To achieve financial success, business managers must establish
clear financial objectives that emphasise the company's financial goals. Goals
should be ambitious, but also measurable and achievable. A financial objective
might be to increase company revenues and earnings. Increasing sales figures and
sales objectives assist businesses in measuring their position in relation to industry
competitors. These goals typically centre on how an organisation can outperform the
competition in terms of market share, product quality, and brand recognition. In
order to operate effectively, your company must improve its human resources.

Business ethics are a set of moral values and corporate standards of conduct in any
business organisation. Business ethics are demonstrated both as written and
unwritten codes of moral standards that are critical to the current activities and future
aspirations of a business organisation. In simpler terms, business ethics basically
represent the organisation’s codes of corporate governance. It requires the morality
standards and behavioural patterns expected of the individuals and business as a
whole. Business ethics is more than just a concept used to enhance the image of a
corporation; ethics are the very foundation of success which should be applied from
the very beginning when a firm starts its operation. The subject of ethics is often
considered abstract (existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or
concrete existence) by those who believe that rules do not always apply to them.
Fact is rules and laws apply to everyone, as do standards of right and wrong
behaviour. Each individual’s actions within the company affects both the individual
and the entire organisation. When an employee acts ethically and responsibly, it
helps the entire organisation to maintain a healthy reputation. It is most unfortunate
when some employees in the upper levels of the corporate ladder decide to act
unethically, but it is a fact of business and of life. For this reason, it is crucial for a
business to be vigilant and rigorous in promoting an employee to a higher position in
order to uphold positive and practicing good values in doing business.

2.2 Effects of the current issues to the company and people in the company
Business Ethics
Machine Ethics
In Moral Machines: Teaching Robots Right from Wrong, Wendell Wallach and Colin
Allen conclude that issues in machine ethics will likely drive advancement in
understanding of human ethics by forcing us to address gaps in modern normative
theory and by providing a platform for experimental investigation. The effort to
actually program a machine or artificial agent to behave as though instilled with a
sense of ethics requires new specificity in our normative theories, especially
regarding
aspects customarily considered common-sense. For example, machines, unlike
humans, can support a wide selection of learning algorithms, and controversy has
arisen over the relative ethical merits of these options. This may reopen classic
debates of normative ethics framed in new (highly technical) terms.
8
Relational Ethics
Relational ethics are related to ethics of care. They are used in qualitative research,
especially ethnography and autoethnography. Researchers who employ relational
ethics value and respect the connection between themselves and the people they
study, and "between researchers and the communities in which they live and work.
Relational ethics also help researchers understand difficult issues such as
conducting research on intimate others that have died and developing friendships
with their
participants. Relational ethics in close personal relationships form a central concept
of
contextual therapy.
Technology Ethics
The conclusion and recommendation Ethics is issues of right, wrong, fairness. Therefore,
business ethics places it focus on ethical issues that arise in the commercial world. It is coming
to what now I’m give my suggestions to the company to avoid the current issues in the
company. Setting an ethical code for the society as well as at work places and other
institutions is essential. It helps the people recognize as to what is right and what is wrong and
encourages them to behave the right way. Move with the times Our customers, clients and
society as a whole will often guide how we run our businesses. They tell us what they want;
whether it’s more ethically sourced produce, fairer wages for suppliers across the globe
or more environmentally friendly policies. There will also be shifting
themes which organisations concentrate on when it comes to improving their ethical standards
- from environmentalism, working with sustainable resources, corporate social responsibility
to battling cybercrimes and protecting privacy in the digital world we live in now. Your ethics
policies or Code of Conduct needs to reflect the ever-changing world we live in. It should feel
inspiring, rather than a hindrance, because ultimately it’s about making your workplace and
brand better.
