Activity
1. The unit will begin with a classroom read-aloud with discussion from the Dr.
Suess Learning Library, Oh Say Can You Seed? by Bonnie Worth projected
from my Kindle onto the Smartboard for equitable access to reading and
information. The first week of the science unit will consist of the in-depth
read-aloud; next, small-group work with a color/cut-and-paste activity (or a
student may choose to write-in the parts of the plant) labeling the parts of a
seed and plant with definition, and lastly the plant life cycle (during this I will
project the images on the Smartboard for the students to reference).
