a) animal life cycles; and
b) plant life cycles.

In my activity, my students are going to build a flyer about the plant cycle. They are going to use canva
complete the parts of the plant.

The lesson is going to be opened by a PowerPoint introducing the parts of a plant. The
through the PowerPoint and play the explanatory videos on each part of the plant. Mak
teacher goes over all the requirements for the SOL standard. The teacher will play a gro
game with the students on the PowerPoint. Students will have to match the function w
the plant. Then the teacher will pass out a worksheet diagram explaining the parts of th
activity the students have to do.

1. The students will log into their Canva accounts.

2. They will join the class Canva board.
3. They will pick a design they want their diagram to look like
4. They will then explain each part of the plant on their diagram
5. They will make sure that they have every requirement of each part of the plant from
directions (Making sure they have a picture and all of the information)
