Activity
1. As a warm-up, the teacher and students will discuss
as a class what we already know about the life
cycles of plants and animals.
2. The activity we will be doing includes fill in the
blanks, labeling, and putting pictures in order for the
life cycles of a butterfly, tadpoles, and plants.
3. The activity begins with a fill in the blank of the life
cycle of a butterfly. 2 Students at a time will go up
to the SMART board and complete this slide.
4. After the slide is completed by the students, the
teacher will then go over the slide with the class.
5. 2 more students will go up to the SMART board and
complete the next slides.
6. Following the butterfly is the life cycle of a tadpole
and plants.
7. The same steps 3-5 will be conducted for both
tadpoles and plants.
8. As a wrap-up activity, students will complete a
crossword puzzle containing facts that we discussed
in class.
