In this activity, my students are going to use Book Creator_ to create a Plant Life Cycle
Comic Strip. .
Pedagogy Planning
 Activity The students will be introduced to the life cycle of a plant and will be provided with
proof that all living things develop and evolve over the course of their lifespans. To
gain understanding, the teacher will demonstrate and show that plants go through a
life cycle in which they sprout, grow roots, stalks, leaves, and flowers, reproduce,
and then inevitably perish. Students will watch the changes that take place as the
plant develops and grows in an interactive video. After the video, students will take
turns in describing each step of the plant life cycle. Students will start to recognize
that there are differences in the life cycles of animals and plants. Students will show
how to list the phases of plant life in order. For practice at home, students will
create a fun comic strip using the website Book Creator.

This comic strip assignment should include:

1. Select a 6-block template to create the 6 steps of the life cycle of a plant
2. Type in each block what stage the plant is in
3. Add a creative touch!
