I transmit herewith the Independent Academic Affairs Coordinator’s Report of Gunyan


National High School for the 2 nd Quarter of School Year 2020-2021, in compliance with
your unnumbered memorandum as the continuing Professional Development Strategy for
the improvement of teaching and learning.

The report consists of the Consolidated Learners’ Assessment and Mean Percentile Score
(MPS) across 8 Learning Areas, Consolidated Learners’ Assessment by Grade Level
(ATAF 2) and Consolidated Learners’ Assessment by Class (ATAF 2) and
Recommended Remedial Measures’ Report.

A qualified assessment has been rendered on the fairness of the report. Summary below
are some of the significant findings noted during the assessment. Corresponding
recommendations are included for improvement and for remedial measures.

I. Learning Area: ENGLISH


Coordinator: GILBERT B. BONGCAWEL, ED. D.

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated MPS of English Department is 82.66% with
Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade 10 level is the top performer among the
other grade levels with the MPS for the whole class of 83.30% (S).

At the end of the quarter, English Department accomplished with the following
consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 20.55%, Very
Satisfactory is 25.77%, Satisfactory is 42.03%, Fairly Satisfactory is 11.04% and
did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.61%.

Apparently, out of the 652 total number of learners 4 or 0.61% did not meet the
expectation in this learning area.

Recommendations:

1. That the ICT Coordinator will provide hard copy of the online LIS to the
subject teacher to have consistent and unfailing learners’ record or resolve
unwanted record system.

2. That Teacher Julius Bulac shall be reprimand due to late submission of


reports.

3. That the recommended remedial measures in 8 learning areas mentioned on


this report be fully implemented by the school head.

4. That the MPS rating per class level must reflect on the class performance.

II. Learning Area: FILIPINO


Coordinator: JUVELYN T. CUARESMA

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated General Average of Filipino Department is
84.85% with Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade 9 level is the top
performer among the other grade levels with the General Average for the whole
class of 87.25% (VS).

At the end of the quarter, Filipino Department accomplished with the following
consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 20.55%, Very
Satisfactory is 25.77%, Satisfactory is 42.03%, Fairly Satisfactory is 11.04% and
did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.61%.

Apparently, out of the 652 reported total number of learners, 4 or 0.61% did not
meet the expectation in this learning area.

Recommendations:

III. Learning Area: SCIENCE
Coordinator: GENEVIE A. CABARRUBIAS, MAED

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated General Average (GA) of Science
Department is 82.94% with Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade 8 level is
the top performer among the other grade levels with the General Average for the
whole class of 84.10%.

At the end of the quarter, the Science Department accomplished with the
following consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 6.87%,
Very Satisfactory is 27.18%, Satisfactory is 52.67%, Fairly Satisfactory is
13.28% and did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0%.

Apparently, out of the 655 total number of learners 87 or 13.28% is fairly


satisfactory in this learning area.

IV. Learning Area: MATHEMATICS


Coordinator: ROLDILYNGINE B. ABELIDAS

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated General Average (GA) of Mathematics
Department is 83% with Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade 8 level is the
top performer among the other grade levels with the General Average for the
whole class of 83.25%.

At the end of the quarter, the Mathematics Department accomplished with the
following consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 2.75%,
Very Satisfactory is 23.36%, Satisfactory is 63.97%, Fairly Satisfactory is 9.16%
and Did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.31%.

Apparently, the 655 total number of learners is unequal to the total number of
consolidated learner’s assessment.

Pagpapakatao Department is 86.25% with Descriptive Rating of Very
Satisfactory. Grade 10 level is the top performer among the other grade levels
with the General Average for the whole class of 89% (VS).

At the end of the quarter, the ESP Department accomplished with the following
consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 20.55%, Very
Satisfactory is 25.77%, Satisfactory is 42.03%, Fairly Satisfactory is 11.04% and
did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.61%.

Department is 84.21% with Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade 10 level is
the top performer among the other grade levels with the General Average for the
whole class of 85.40% (VS).

At the end of the quarter, the MAPEH Department accomplished with the
following consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is
12.82%, Very Satisfactory is 28.09%, Satisfactory is 49.17%, Fairly Satisfactory
is 9.92% and did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.61%.

Apparently, out of the 655 total number of learners 84 or 12.82% outstanding in


this learning area.

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated General Average (GA) of Technology and
Livelihood Education (TLE) Department is 84.21% with Descriptive Rating of
Satisfactory. Grade 10 level is the top performer among the other grade levels
with the General Average for the whole class of 84.75%.

At the end of the quarter, the TLE Department accomplished with the following
consolidated learners’ assessment performance; Outstanding is 6.73%, Very

Satisfactory is 40.06%, Satisfactory is 52.91%, Fairly Satisfactory is 0.15% and
did not Meet Expectation (below 75) is 0.15%.

For the 2nd quarter, the Consolidated General Average (GA) of Araling
Panlipunan Department is 84.40% with Descriptive Rating of Satisfactory. Grade
10 level is the top performer among the other grade levels with the General
Average for the whole class of 85.50%.

At the end of the quarter, the Araling Panlipunan Department reported 654 total
number of learners and accomplished with the following consolidated learners’
assessment performance; Outstanding is 10.24%, Very Satisfactory is 32.42%,
Satisfactory is 56.12%, Fairly Satisfactory is 1.22% and Did not Meet
Expectation (below 75) is 0%.

Apparently, out of the 654 total number of learners 67 or 10.24% outstanding in


this learning area.
