Vacancy in National Rural Livelihood Promotion Society

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Government of India has launched


Deendayal Antyodaya Yojna- National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) in 2011.
The mission aims at creating efficient and effective institutional platforms of the rural
poor enabling them to increase household income through sustainable livelihoods and
improved access to financial and public services. To implement the mission, GoI
has set up the National Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (NRLPS) to provide
Technical Assistance to MoRD and all states. A multidisciplinary professional team,
has been constituted in NRLPS. This team consists of senior professionals,
experienced consultants and young professionals. The details about DAY- NRLM and

In this light, NRLPS is identifying and placing suitable professionals in various thematic
units. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the positions National
Mission Manager Monitoring & Evaluation at NRLPS, New Delhi.
L1- Minimum Rs. 1,20,000/- to 1,77,295/- per month plus travel related reimbursable as
per NRLPS norms

2. Undertake the following M&E activities at the DAY-NRLM, MoRD:


(a) Prepare EoIs and ToRs for the studies to be commissioned by DAY-NRLM,
MoRD and determine sample size and distribution, methodology, tools, report
templates etc;
(b) Support the procurement wing in the contracting of consultants/organizations;
(c) Manage consultants, organizations contracted for undertaking the studies as
per the provisions of the contract;
(d) Review studies / assessments / evaluations completed by the consultants /
organizations and provide critical inputs necessary for improving their quality;
(e) Support and guide the thematic units in the selection, design and
implementation of appropriate studies as required from time to time;
(f) Undertake internal studies including documentation of best practices, case
studies, innovations etc., from time to time;
(g) Undertake selection of SHGs, VOs, CLFs and others for conferring national
awards;
(h) Undertake preparation of annual reports, documents, notes, case studies and
best practices as required by the MORD from time to time;
(i) Support the MIS team in the design, development and roll-out of MIS;
(j) Undertake analysis of MIS data and develop suitable MIS analytics and reports
based on MIS data;
(k) Build capacities of the state Missions in the conduct of M&E studies including
process monitoring and community monitoring and dissemination of learning;
(l) Visit state Missions and their forward implementation units to assess the
progress of the Mission and identify critical constraints affecting implementation

Please note that the tenure of the position would be initially for 1 year on contract
