FORM TECH-5 : TEAM COMPOSITION AND TASK ASSIGNMENTS

2.1 TEAM ORGANIZATION

The Project Team has been formed and organized in such a way as to enable the Consultant to provide the
optimum combination of resources and experience to assure the successful completion of the Project. The main
responsibility of the, Consultancy Services to be provided will lie with the Team Leader of the project. He will be
mobilizing all the resources available with the Firm so that the project works are carried out smoothly. He will
also identify, based upon the reports and feedback they will receive from the Project Team Members, and
decide about the type of backstopping support required at any time, and will mobilize the same. He will develop
appropriate linkage with the Client, Head Office and Consultant's Project Personnel and brief them regularly as
per the established lines of communication.
Back-up support from the Head Office will be made to the Consultant's Project Teams during the whole period
of services for carrying out their duties to a successful completion of the Project in consummate workman-like
manner. The Team Leader relevant advisors and support staffs will always be alert to the needs of Project
Teams and will promptly respond with required information, supplies and other resources.

2.2 STAFFING SCHEDULE

The Consultant has put a lot of efforts in understanding the nature, size, scope and the importance of the
proposed services, which have been reflected in above section of this Proposal. Similarly, a careful
consideration has also been made while selecting the proposed team members for the Project. The Consultant
fully understands that despite the experience and a sound establishment of the firms, the success of the Project
will depend in large measure on the composition of the Project Team. The team must represent a combination
of inter-disciplinary skills, including a high degree of technical expertise in a number of disciplines, and
successful professional experience in similar type of projects, with cross-cultural skills enabling them to work
collaboratively and aptly with Client's officials, other agencies and personnel related to the proposed Project.

Rajiv Kumar Singh Sewerage Network Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the

Carry out all necessary surveys, studies, and investigations

Review available data/reports and also that obtained from
surveys, studies, and investigations related with sewerage.

study, approach and procedures etc.
Prepare Preliminary design, socio-economic report, Cost
estimates etc. for Sewerage network and treatment as
detailed out in scope of the study.
Anticipate the likely environmental impact of carrying out

project; willingness to pay for sewerage service; ability to pay
for sewerage service;
Based on the different socio-economic strata, prepare, for the
project, possible structures for differential contribution in
capital investment, O&M and tariff etc for consideration of
project authorities
Develop social inclusion program for specially benefiting the
poor and weaker sections of the project on priority and with
additional assistance, support and efforts.
Proactively make a effective program with WUA and
implement for the purpose of substantially increase the
households' tap connection including socially and
economically backward groups.

Prakash Raj Structural Engineer Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
Shiwakoti activities described in the scope of work related to structural
engineering; and those assigned by Team Leader.
Formulate structural Design Criteria for various civil
structures related to all components of identified projects.
Collect and review available/field data, study reports and
make reconnaissance survey related to structural
engineering.
Work with Team Leader and Design Engineers to carry out
surveys, field tests & investigations necessary for structural
design.
Carry out structural designs of all required components using
the latest available software in the best techno-economic
manner.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.

Rajib Thapa Electrical Engineer Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
activities described in the scope of work related to Electrical /
Mechanical Engineering; and those assigned by Team
Leader.
Collect & review available data, study reports and make
reconnaissance survey of all electro mechanical components
of the project.
Prepare Design Criteria for water supply system related to
electro mechanical components of subprojects in each.
Work with the concerned experts of team in preparing the
designs, drawings, cost estimates, standard specifications
related to electro mechanical components of project.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per

Carry out hydrological/geo-hydrological surveys to identify
the best locations of possible bore-wells; calculate potential
discharge; and design the assembly, structure, all other
components of the bore-wells in subprojects ,where required.
Lead required soil tests, resistivity test, sounding test etc. as
deemed necessary to recommend appropriate location for
boreholes, overhead tank etc.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.
Bimal Pd. Financial Specialist Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
Pradhananga activities described in the scope of work related to the
Financial Management; and those assigned by Team Leader.
Compute the Economic Internal Rate of Return (EIRR) and
other economic indicators to assess the economic viability of
various alternatives of each identified subproject in each
sector.
Carry out sensitivity analysis for EIRR with respect to
important parameters such as project risks, revenues, capital
investments, O&M costs etc.
Recommend water tariff based on the operation and
maintenance cost, minor repairs, cost recovery (30%
minimum) & system development extension of service area.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.

Iman Maharjan Auto Cad Expert Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
activities described in the scope of work related to the field of
consultant and those assigned by Team Leader.
Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and
more complex drawings as demanded by the scope of the
work
Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design
changes, in collaboration with design engineers
Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date
drawings
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.

Tri Ratna Maharjan Surveyor Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
activities described in the scope of work related to the field of
consultant and those assigned by Team Leader.
Collect and review all available surveys and investigations.
Responsible for assessing the need for survey and
investigation and shall plan the survey in such a manner that
all necessary survey data are available to key experts for
designing.
Responsible for supervising, monitoring and quality of the
survey work.
Assist in finalizing the mobilization schedule of key experts
according to the survey need and expected completion time
of surveys.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.
