The Concept of Values
Values allude to the basic inclination that "a specific immediate or effective technique is really
or socially attractive more than a backwards or satisfying strategy for lead or state of presence.
Adequate or alluring property that presents to both a substance and a power, a property that
shows a technique for conduction or a critical power, an attribute of power, which
demonstrates how significant it is. As we rank an individual's characteristics dependent on their
solidarity, we see that individual's worth system. We have a reformist quality framework
dependent on the general significance we put on characteristics like practicality, satisfaction,
trust, dependability, earnestness, and decency. It is accepted that qualities impact the
enthusiastic and social reactions of people.

The characteristics that can be portrayed as appealing, transnational objectives, change of


significance, are crucial qualities in a person's life. The main impetus behind which scientists
and directors are keen on the possibility of characteristics is that they straightforwardly affect
individual and various leveled practices, and that they establish a significant piece of the two
investigations of society and of individuals. Individual qualities exist inside an individual, while
authoritative qualities are shared by individuals across the association.

Characteristics additionally frequently impact a person's assessment of the ability of the


affiliation. Characteristics influence the way individuals approach a subject and take care of
issues. For instance, if an individual places a high worth on unwavering quality, they will
normally attempt to get an advancement without being paid. Given the circumstances, on the
off chance that somebody places enormous significance on the most remarkable circumstance
in the workplace, then, at that point that individual is needed to pay for the advancement.

Since values influence conduct in the solitary, negative conduct is likewise an outcome of
negative characteristics. The greater part of our qualities we maintain are shaped in the early
long stretches of our lives, with the impact of our folks, educators, companions, and others. As
youngsters we were informed that specific character/conduct is attractive face to face, and
some are less alluring. Studies have shown that a portion of the qualities might be controlled by
hereditarily sent attributes. On the off chance that an individual questions his/her quality, there
are chances that the qualities may change yet often it will just assistance in making it more
grounded. Models, for change in qualities; conversing with an individual canvassed in tattoos
was considered less attractive while I was growing up and now it is anything but a less alluring
worth, another model is associating with a transsexual was viewed as awful in while growing up
and now it is not any less attractive. (Nancy et al.,2019, p.82)

REAL LIFE APPLICATION OF THE CONCEPT


I would like to present a real-life application of this concept. I have been working with the same
company which was Convergys which used to outsource for AT&T (One of the Service providers
in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA). There have been times when the customers really used to
come in large volumes on chat and the traffic is way too much for the chats. Specially on the
occasions of Christmas and New Year's Eve, because they all use to invite friends and family
over, so they need to their TV’s and Internet working fine for the entertainment. During that
time, the work used to get really for the employees. Being the Senior team support I had to
have handle and help the agents in providing resolutions to the customers. Not only I used to
get involved the Team leaders and managers were even running on the floor to help us, but
that also really gave us the sense of belonging in the Organization. So, the customer used to
rate the agents based on their chat experiences with them. An agent getting the greatest
number of promoters from the customers used to get recognized in front of the whole floor
teams. So, it all depends how you make your Employees feel in the organization and give them
a sense of belonging that they are a crucial part of the organization this is also counts as a value
and helps eventually of the organization. Values does not always mean giving recognitions to
the employees or providing them with high salaries. It is also about how you treat your
employees and have respect for them. The top management should be easily reachable to all
the employees does not matter on what designations they work in an organization. There
should be unity and full of helpful hands around that is how an organization is built and
nurtured.

I would like an organization to take actions on the following -


° To start giving promotions to employees based on their performance and it should not be
based on personal relations.

It happens sometimes that people who are performing good, they are never taken into
consideration instead what happens is that Managers at higher level of pick up their friends
for that Designation. It happens in Internal Job postings, and it also ruins the chances of
Efficient performance of the company and reduces job Satisfaction among employees who
have been loyal since long and make them quit their job. If you are not going to hold onto
your loyal and best employees, the Organization going to suffer, and its longevity could get
affected.

° They should start giving recognitions to more often to the Employees and giving them an apt
Environment to work.

Most of the company lacks in job satisfaction. Employees should get recognized regularly
based on their performance, like at least twice in a month so that they get motivated to work
and keep that consistency throughout the year. Another thing that affects job satisfaction is
Work environment and perks you provide to the employees. For example, providing free
meals to them and creating an environment where they feel welcomed instead of being
under pressure, every time they wake up in the morning to go to work, they should be happy
every day. They should not feel like a normal and boring routine. All these adds up to the
Values of an Organization.
