The Stablishment of the Church

In this topic I learned that church was not exist in the time of our Lord Jesus
Christ, Although it’s already prophecy in the book of Daniel, foretelling the establishing
of the Lords New Testament Church.

Here also I learned the What, Where, When of the Church, like What is revealed
to prophet Joel, and the Where is Revealed to Prophet Isaiah, and the Where is revealed
to Prophet Daniel, so that I notice that the very first God has a perfect plan for his
people as a church, because here we discuss that every event happened in perfect time
or way, when he promise that he will build the church on the rock, here I realized that
he want us to be still until he comes back.

I also realized that when he start to build the very first church (body of Christ) he
choose right time which is Pentecost, (there is something that He want other to see,
because it’s a feast were everyone go there to experience feast) and also when he build
the church he choose the right men ( because here his apostle become more equipped)
the Power of the Holy Spirit lead his apostle, that’s why now a days I praise God for his
perfect plan. He will not leave us alone as a church but He’s with us through the Holy
Spirit that guide us and help us to be still and remain faithful until the Return of Jesus
 The Scriptural Names of the Church

When this topic been reported I’m absent, but as I study the topic I discovered
that the true church supposed to teach the Doctrine of Jesus Christ, for the church is
consist of those who are partakers of Christ .

Here, when I read the file of Cris Emannuel the one who report I also learned that
even in the old testament the word “Church” is there and they called it qahal or Kahal
which means to call or to meet or come together at an appointed place, here I’m
amazed how God come along with his people and how God guiding them.

Also if in the old testament time the church refer to those who are called or to
meet in an appointed place. in the New Testament, I learned that the word Church here
is called ikklesia which mean now is “to call out” or “to come Together”.

I discovered also that God is the one who choose among from the mass of people
to be His church. In the book of Bible we can encounter any other terms that refers to
church but one thing is for sure that from the start God make a plan for us, His people to
be with him.
The Seven Churches in Revelation

In this topic that tackles the 7 churches in revelation which is Ephesus, Smyrna,
Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodecia, I learned where this church
located continents, and when they stablished, but aside from it I also learned that every
single church here, has a great responsibility or role for the 2 nd coming of Christ.

When we study this topic I realized like the 7 early churches they have different
role and functions, also us as a church we also need to know our function for us to be
more effective and become more prepared. Yet these 7 churches has a different role to
play with but they have a one heart which is to praise and lift the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
 The Nature of the Church

nature of the church, that the church can be visible and invisible Church.

Here I realized being lived here in the Philipines we can easily project or express
our love and thankfulness to the Lord by joining into visible church, for the visible
church stand for what we have today Gathering, buildings, or a group of people serving
God.

I also know here that if there’s visible church where we can see and feel there’s
also invisible church which is for the eyes of the Lord that our God is the only one who
knows that if we truly a Part of the Church.

This topic make me realized that the visible church can easily make us a part of
church by attending or joining a gathering praising God, but the truth is God knows our
heart, God’s know everything about us even our motive that’s why it is important to be
part of the visible Church but most important is to be Part of the invisible church which
is our relationship to our Lord Jesus Christ.
 The Government of the Church

I learned in this lesson that the church al need administration to be more

effective in leading every member. For we know what church like, it’s like a body we
must know or recognized which one is the head or the arm.

To be more deeply here I understand that leading church is more complex than I
thought because before I just only know that the Pastor is the only head of the church,
but I was wrong because the’re also what we called Rev. which supervised the church
and the’re also what we called Bishop the one who overview or the overseer of the
church, and off course there is Jesus Christ which is the head of the church.

Here also I realized how important every member or part of the church to lead
the church. because it’s also important for a church to have a different task to attend,
like treasurer the one who hold and counts the money of the church, a secretary the
one who recall the vision of the Lord every meeting and there’s a lot of various task to
fill with.

But the most importand thing I discover is when we elected someone or

somebody to be on a government of the church they’re must be full and guided by the
Holy Spirit for us to Trust them.
 The Important Events of the Apostolic Age

There is a lot of events happening in the early churches but this topic is one of
the most important to know because this topic taught me how Jesus our Lord, from the
time he has Born until he do ministry and how he prepared his Apostle

Here I remind once again how perfect the plan of God for us because he
ministered for three Long year, and in this period of time He prepared the apostle and
make them more equipped. He make them an eyewitness for Him.

I also learned that God make his apostle strong enough to endure the any
opposition, I realized that the apostle also study like us under Jesus I mean knowing
Jesus is they’re rabi or teacher, Jesus teach them not just only economically, cultural
aspects but beyond anything of this world and it is his own will and plan.

There is a lot of happening during their time, the pagans exist, the scoffers exist,
opposition upon them but they remain faithful, and I admire God for how he equipped
His Apostle during that time. And realizing this thing I need to be more equipped by his
word and his truth for me to be more deep with him .
The Important Events of the Church History

In this topic that Louel Mar Arcibal reported. I learned that there’s various things
happen to the church before we can become us today. First of all off course God make
the Church in Acts. The fulfillment of what’s prophet Joel prophecy. And after that
church started to face circumstances, problems like opposition, scoffers tried to fool
early Christians,

I also notice that God use a lot of events, places, and people before, like gentile
Christian doesn’t want to observe mosaic law of the Jew. A generation after the death of
Christ Christianity had reach the Rome, and there the Roman Empire started to
persecute them. And Come the foundation of the Catholic Church.

I realized here that Catholic plays a role too. Because of the Catholicism
Constantine converted and stop the persecution among the Christian and because of it
the Christian State as a religion. But there’s something wrong about the teaching of the
Catholicism because priest distorted the Gospel to gain money and build some vasilica
and there comes Martin Luther to reform the teaching of the Catholic.

Here also I learned that islam appear too. a religion present by Muhammad a
false prophet at that time. There’s a lot of happening before we can become us today
and I believe all of this happening in line to the plan of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also
discuss a scenario that we should to be thankful because Catholic is introduce first in our
country that’s why it’s more easy for us to accept Jesus.
 The Purpose and the Role of the Church in
the Life of the Believers

Everything should be connected to one another that’s what I learned in this topic
that the church should be connected because church is a group of people called out to
worship His name.

Here I notice that the important function of the church to the life of the believer
is so essential. First here I’ve been taught that the church help us to know God more
deeply and help us to grow our faith and to be more equipped. Secondly the church
help us to be remind us how Good is God is.

I also learned that the church help us as a believers to reach out those who are
not yet in the Church.
 The Nature of Christ Second Coming

Here I learned that the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ to his second coming will
be divine, for He is the one will judge us and the one who saved us.

As I have studied this topic I notice that the day when he will return for the
second time Christ will become divine and lots of great things will be happen the just
will be judge and also a sinner will be judge too. there will be an earthquake.
 Rapture

This topic Reported by Jerwin Grace Verjom I learned thing which is important to
know and understand, like Rapture was a great Joy for us as a believer or church of
Christ and a great terror for the unbeliever for there’s no time to repent for them.

Here I also notice that Rapture will be dramatic moment were every believers will
meet Jesus is the Air. This is our hope that we need to look up for the rapture takes sting
out of the death in us.

Here I was also being reminded on what I need to do while waiting to the time of
rapture, which is first I need to “Stay in Fellowship” for me to be always in the church or
to be on the body always, second “Employ the Faith- Rest Technique” to become always
in line, Third is to “Have a Confidence” for this is our hope we need to have an
confidence to Christ, Fourth “have Patients” Many thing will happen sooner or later but
always remind ourselves to be more patient everytime, and Fifth and the last thing we
need to do while waiting to Rapture is to “Growing in Christ by Continuing Edified” this
so important like a plant we need to grow until the time we will be raptured.

I praise God for this learning, yes there’s no exact time but it makes me alarmed.
 The Millenium and Great Tribulation

This topic reported by Ms. Julie and Russel I learned that millennium speaks
about a thousand years and A great Tribulation is the worst thing can happen to the
earth.

I notice to the topic millennium that there’s a various perspective or insights

about it. There’s what we called “Millennialism” which believe that Christ will coming
Down from the heaven and lock devil or satan to the deepest of the abyss and there is a
thousand years of peace, and that Christ will reign on the earth physically which they
called is Golden Years and there’s “Post Millenialism” they believe that millennium is
not an actual years but an era. And last there’s “Amellenialism” which they’re believe
the millennium is now that Jesus is Reigning.

I make an conclusion for myself in this topic that there’s a lot of views about
millennium, one thing is for sure that God will reign in us and there will be peace for
sure.

And what I’ve learned the great Tribulation was before the Great there wil be
Tribulation and like the women giving birth she will suffer, but on the day of the birth
she will suffer the most. In this time you can’t enjoy. That’s why I make a realization for
myself that until I have strength I will use it for the glory of God.
 The 70 Weeks Prophecy of Daniel

I’m the one who reported this topic with kuya Andrew and as I studied this topic I
discover how God love his people, that he give them a prophecy that they can hold on.

On the first place I was wondering why God give Prophet Daniel a number for an
answer to his prayer, but as I go more deeply in my research I also understand that if
God gave them the accurate answer the Israel people will more spoiled and become
more hard headed races and also I realized that if God give the accurate answer or more
detailed ansnwer maybe the gentile will not be included today.

I amazed how God work from the mathe mathical problem of 70 x 7 to how Jesus
fulfilled it all in time. But there’s a remaining 7 years waiting to be fulfilled a gap of time
a chance where God want us to be save and be with him.

Realization for my self that God never fail to warn us every time, every single day
is a chance to turn back into sin and turn to Jesus.
 Signs that Precedes Christ Return

This topic Reported by ate Lanie Mangilaya about some sign of Christ second
Return, while she’s report I knew that His second coming is like a thief no one knows the
exact time of his return that’s why we need to ready or prepared our selves for this
moment.

I also notice that she Discuss. Some signs happening when Christ nearly return
like, “Earthquake and Famine” this is one of the common thing I usually here when it
talks about his second return Earthquake cause of volcanic eruption and famine in every
area in the world another sign is “Wars and Disaster” this is also tackled that when the
nations war against nation maybe the second return is near, another thing is everyone,
every person will hear the Gospel, this sign make me question my self so in this case we
can possibly delay the second return of Christ? And after the discussion my question
being answer of you ma’am. That no one can delay the second coming of the Lord but
himself only according to his will, because everything will be possible now a days
because of the internet and Television.

I make a conclusion for my self to this topic that aside from the signs, one thing is
for sure, Christ will Return to fulfill his promises to those who have hope in him.

The Olivet Discourse

 This topic reported by Geralyn Regular and as she discuss the topic to the class I
understand why it calls olivet discourse, it’s because Jesus teach on the mount of olives
in the garden of Gethsemane.

I notice on her discussion that the Olivet discourse compose of some important
prophetic materials, foretells the destruction of Israel and the end of the worlds. This
might be important as you say (-ma’am Saynes) because Jesus is the one who talks
about what’s happening here.

Here you also conclude that Jesus foretell this to the apostle only on a private
chat or conversation. And In addition as I read the chap 24 of Mathew I discover that
there will be scoffers or false teacher, who will distort the teaching and also Jesus
predicted that the apostle surely persecuted. Jesus added by telling to the apostle that
no one knows the time of the second coming, he said It’s like a thief in the house.

As realization on what I’ve learned in this topic I need to be more ready and
prepare in every situation now that I knew on the chap. 24 of Mathew Jesus is the one
who give warning for them, and this topic taught me clearly that God will return one of
this Day.

Final Judgement

This topic reported by Ivy and Ezekiel and it’s all about Judgemnet of the God to
the final days.

Here’s what I’ve learned in this topic, they started discussion in a question of
who will be judge and what is hell? So here’s the lesson I knew because of this topic that
every one will be judge even if your just or a sinner for every deeds there will be
consequence it could be result into eternal life or eternal lake of fire. And also I learned
about the hell, this is a place for the consequence for the sinner.
 This topic also taught me that the final judgement will become dramatic events
where Jesus judging everyone while seated of white throne. And here will happen the
rewarding for the just and a judgement for a sinner also this day will become terror for
the sinners. Also they include to the lesson that angels also will be judge and we will
help the work or judgement, hence I realized that even on the last days we will work for
God so let us continue strive till the end

Also I notice that there will be a great display of power, where Jesus will show
both Glory,and rigtheosnes, grace and mercy. That’s why we must share the gospel
more eagerly to share the salvation of Christ.

New Heaven and New Earth

In this lesson which is reported by ate Liezel I learned that the new heaven and
the new earth is an eternal dwelling place were in this place God will wipe all tears in
our eyes.

I also learned that this a perfect place that God has preparing for everyone who
believe in him, the road will be Gold and the gates are pearl, and in this place there’s no
sea, no more mourning, or weeping, no more curse, no more pain, and no more night,
this place we will be with God.
 I also notice while she discussing this topic that this place is a place where we
cannot imagine the beauty, it’s a place where God’s presence dwelling freely, and also
in this place sin doesn’t exist

I can’t imagine what place looks like, what feels like, we must become excited for
this day to come, for us to experience God’s presence freely, just imagine a place where
you can’t do a single sin. This will be the finish lane that’s why today while we’re on
track let’s continue walk with Christ.
