Provided are two given maps depicting the upgradation of a university campus

between 2006 and the present time.

As is highlighted from the diagrams, most previous premises have been
undergone demolition to serve student-inclined purpose as a dominant goal.
On the top left corner, there exists a conspicuous expansion of buildings for
student accommodations, the number of which has doubled from two to four. To
the Northeastern border, facilities of the teaching staff, namely the University
offices and teaching block for Arts and Science major, have encountered a
conversion into two separate Science and Art area, respectively. A further
noticeable feature is the shopping and eating facilities at the lower right corner
have been knocked down in substitution for the construction of student
residence. On the left hand side, the block for student accommodation has
experienced a shift in its purpose, which is now utilized to provide students with
other amenities such as shops and offices.
The outdoor natural areas at the central of the campus, such as the lawn and
seating zone and the yellow path have been removed although the large blue lake
still remained intact. It is also evident that in the 2006’s map, the campus used to
be more environmentally-friendly, unlike present time when numerous trees have
been chopped down to erect more buildings.
