Client server communication system

CLIENT SERVER COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

AIM:
Client-server communication typically adheres to the TCP/IP protocol suite The
client-server approach enables any general-purpose computer to expand its capabilities by
utilizing the shared resources of other hosts. Popular client-server applications include
email, the World Wide Web, and network printing.

THEORY:
In computer science,”Client-Server Communication System” is a software
architecture model consisting of two parts, client systems and server systems, both
communicating over a computer network or on the same computer. The client-server
model is a distributed application structure that partitions tasks or workloads between the
providers of a resource or service, called servers, and service requesters, called clients.
Often clients and servers communicate over a computer network on separate hardware,
but both client and server may reside in the same system. The client process always
initiates a connection to the server, while the server process always waits for requests
from any client. A server host runs one or more server programs which share their
resources with clients. A client does not share any of its resources, but requests a server's
content or service function. Clients therefore initiate communication sessions with servers
which await incoming requests. The client and server communicate with each other
through a well-known application protocol.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Processor Intel Core i3 or higher.
2. Memory 1GB or more.
3. Operating System Windows / Linux / MacOS X.
4 IDE Code Blocks.
5 Compiler GNU / GCC Compiler
6. Graphics Library OpenGL.

Client server communication system
RESULT EXPECTED:
The Client Server Communication system in ASP.NET maintains frequent
interaction between the administrator and the project leaders/programmers. It
automatically records login/logout time of the users and maintain both online as well as
offline messages. It tries to automate the entire process with database integration
approach.
