Preliminary findings:
The urban waterfront heritage through a case study of Chittagong has been
explored. The study shows the relation of water front with the urban
morphology and spatial organization of built heritage. The study argues
that physical and spatial components of urban structure and water
landscape, incorporating the lessons of urban history, could become a tool
to preserve urban heritage. Some illustrations of the study are shown
below
