Christ‌‌Is‌‌Risen;‌‌Faith‌‌in‌‌Him‌‌Will‌‌Move‌‌Mountains‌‌-‌‌Sunday‌‌Morning‌‌Session‌

 ‌
Welcome‌‌everyone.‌‌Used‌‌to‌‌few‌‌participants‌‌in‌‌zoom.‌‌We‌‌see‌‌to‌‌it‌‌that‌‌everyone‌‌participates.‌‌
You‌‌can‌‌unmute‌‌and‌‌butt‌‌in‌‌anytime.‌‌May‌‌also‌‌raise‌‌hand.‌‌    ‌
--------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
Pres‌‌Nelson‌‌changed‌‌the‌‌logo‌‌and‌‌name‌‌to‌‌emphasize‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ.‌‌    ‌
-The‌‌Lord‌‌has‌‌impressed‌‌upon‌‌my‌‌mind‌‌the‌‌importance‌‌of‌‌the‌‌name‌‌He‌‌has‌‌revealed‌‌for‌‌His‌‌
Church,‌‌even‌‌The‌‌Church‌‌of‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌of‌‌Latter-day‌‌Saints.‌‌We‌‌have‌‌work‌‌before‌‌us‌‌to‌‌bring‌‌
ourselves‌‌in‌‌harmony‌‌with‌‌His‌‌will.‌‌In‌‌recent‌‌weeks,‌‌various‌‌Church‌‌leaders‌‌and‌‌departments‌‌
have‌‌initiated‌‌the‌‌necessary‌‌steps‌‌to‌‌do‌‌so.‌  ‌
-The‌‌symbol‌‌will‌‌now‌‌be‌‌used‌‌as‌‌a‌‌visual‌‌identifier‌‌for‌‌official‌‌literature,‌‌news,‌‌and‌‌events‌‌of‌‌the‌‌
Church.‌‌It‌‌will‌‌remind‌‌all‌‌that‌‌this‌‌is‌‌the‌‌Savior’s‌‌Church‌‌and‌‌that‌‌all‌‌we‌‌do,‌‌as‌‌members‌‌of‌‌His‌‌
Church,‌‌centers‌‌on‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌and‌‌His‌‌gospel.”‌  ‌
---------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
 ‌
-What‌‌scriptural‌‌verses‌‌come‌‌to‌‌mind‌‌when‌‌talking‌‌about‌‌faith?‌‌    ‌
---------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
As‌‌we‌‌know‌‌there‌‌are‌‌four‌‌principles‌‌of‌‌the‌‌Gospel,‌‌namely..‌‌    ‌
 ‌
-Why‌‌is‌‌faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌the‌‌first‌‌principle‌‌of‌‌the‌‌Gospel?‌‌    ‌
 ‌
-Faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌is‌‌the‌‌foundation‌‌of‌‌all‌‌belief‌‌and‌‌the‌‌conduit‌‌of‌‌divine‌‌power.‌‌Everything‌‌
good‌‌in‌‌life—every‌‌potential‌‌blessing‌‌of‌‌eternal‌‌significance—begins‌‌with‌‌faith.‌  ‌
 ‌
-Having‌‌faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌enables‌‌us‌‌to‌‌make‌‌sacrifices‌‌or‌‌to‌‌do‌‌difficult‌‌tasks.‌‌Because‌‌of‌‌
their‌‌faith,‌‌for‌‌example,‌‌Abraham‌‌was‌‌willing‌‌to‌‌offer‌‌his‌‌son‌‌as‌‌a‌‌sacrifice,‌‌Enoch‌‌was‌‌
translated,‌‌and‌‌Noah‌‌was‌‌saved‌‌from‌‌the‌‌flood.‌‌These‌‌and‌‌many‌‌other‌‌miracles‌‌were‌‌
accomplished‌‌by‌‌faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ,‌‌“for‌‌it‌‌is‌‌by‌‌faith‌‌that‌‌miracles‌‌are‌‌wrought”‌  ‌
 ‌
-Faith‌‌also‌‌enables‌‌us‌‌to‌‌endure‌‌suffering,‌‌trials,‌‌and‌‌afflictions.‌‌Job‌‌was‌‌able‌‌to‌‌endure‌‌his‌‌
great‌‌sufferings,‌‌for‌‌example,‌‌because‌‌he‌‌had‌‌faith‌‌in‌‌Christ.‌  ‌
 ‌
Without‌‌faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ,‌‌we’re‌‌not‌‌likely‌‌to‌‌repent,‌‌be‌‌baptized,‌‌and‌‌follow‌‌His‌‌teachings.‌‌
We’re‌‌lucky‌‌to‌‌be‌‌in‌‌a‌‌Christian‌‌country.‌‌Even‌‌at‌‌a‌‌young‌‌age,‌‌we’re‌‌taught‌‌to‌‌believe‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌
Christ.‌‌   ‌
----------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
-My‌‌call‌‌to‌‌you‌‌this‌‌Easter‌‌morning‌‌is‌‌to‌‌start‌‌today‌‌to‌‌increase‌‌your‌‌faith.‌  ‌
-What‌‌can‌‌we‌‌do‌‌to‌‌increase‌‌our‌‌faith?‌‌    ‌
-Five‌‌suggestions‌‌to‌‌help‌‌you‌‌develop‌‌that‌‌faith‌‌and‌‌trust‌  ‌
 ‌
-First,‌‌study.‌‌Become‌‌an‌‌engaged‌‌learner.‌‌Immerse‌‌yourself‌‌in‌‌the‌‌scriptures‌‌to‌‌understand‌‌
better‌‌Christ’s‌‌mission‌‌and‌‌ministry.‌‌The‌‌more‌‌you‌‌learn‌‌about‌‌the‌‌Savior,‌‌the‌‌easier‌‌it‌‌will‌‌be‌‌to‌‌
trust‌‌in‌‌His‌‌mercy,‌‌His‌‌infinite‌‌love,‌‌and‌‌His‌‌strengthening,‌‌healing,‌‌and‌‌redeeming‌‌power.‌  ‌
What‌‌are‌‌your‌‌scripture‌‌study‌‌tips?‌‌Not‌‌everyone‌‌is‌‌into‌‌reading.‌‌    ‌
 ‌
-Second,‌‌choose‌‌to‌‌believe‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ.‌‌If‌‌you‌‌have‌‌doubts‌‌about‌‌God‌‌the‌‌Father‌‌and‌‌His‌‌
Beloved‌‌Son‌‌choose‌‌to‌‌believe‌‌and‌‌stay‌‌faithful.‌‌Take‌‌your‌‌questions‌‌to‌‌the‌‌Lord‌‌and‌‌to‌‌other‌‌
faithful‌‌sources.‌  ‌
RM’s‌‌who‌‌have‌‌encountered‌‌atheists‌‌or‌‌agnostics.‌‌What’s‌‌your‌‌story?‌  ‌
 ‌
-Third,‌‌act‌‌in‌‌faith.‌  ‌
What‌‌does‌‌it‌‌mean‌‌to‌‌act‌‌in‌‌faith?‌‌    ‌
-Fourth,‌‌partake‌‌of‌‌sacred‌‌ordinances‌‌worthily.‌‌Ordinances‌‌unlock‌‌the‌‌power‌‌of‌‌God‌‌for‌‌your‌‌
life.‌  ‌
 ‌
-And‌‌fifth,‌‌ask‌‌your‌‌Heavenly‌‌Father,‌‌in‌‌the‌‌name‌‌of‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ,‌‌for‌‌help.‌‌Faith‌‌takes‌‌work.‌‌
Receiving‌‌revelation‌‌takes‌‌work.‌‌But‌‌“every‌‌one‌‌that‌‌asketh‌‌receiveth;‌‌and‌‌he‌‌that‌‌seeketh‌‌
findeth;‌‌and‌‌to‌‌him‌‌that‌‌knocketh‌‌it‌‌shall‌‌be‌‌opened.”‌  ‌
-----------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
-Matthew‌‌17:20‌  ‌
-And‌‌Jesus‌‌said‌‌unto‌‌them,‌‌Because‌‌of‌‌your‌‌unbelief:‌‌for‌‌verily‌‌I‌‌say‌‌unto‌‌you,‌‌If‌‌ye‌‌have‌‌faith‌‌
as‌‌a‌‌grain‌‌of‌‌mustard‌‌seed,‌‌ye‌‌shall‌‌say‌‌unto‌‌this‌‌mountain,‌‌Remove‌‌hence‌‌to‌‌yonder‌‌place;‌‌
and‌‌it‌‌shall‌‌remove;‌‌and‌‌nothing‌‌shall‌‌be‌‌impossible‌‌unto‌‌you.‌
What‌‌does‌‌this‌‌verse‌‌mean?‌‌Examples?‌‌    ‌
 ‌
-Through‌‌your‌‌faith,‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌will‌‌increase‌‌your‌‌ability‌‌to‌‌move‌‌the‌‌mountains‌‌in‌‌your‌‌life.‌  ‌
-Your‌‌mountains‌‌may‌‌be‌‌loneliness,‌‌doubt,‌‌illness,‌‌or‌‌other‌‌personal‌‌problems.‌‌Your‌‌mountains‌‌
will‌‌vary,‌‌and‌‌yet‌‌the‌‌answer‌‌to‌‌each‌‌of‌‌your‌‌challenges‌‌is‌‌to‌‌increase‌‌your‌‌faith.‌  ‌
-Truly,‌‌faith‌‌is‌‌the‌‌power‌‌that‌‌enables‌‌the‌‌unlikely‌‌to‌‌accomplish‌‌the‌‌impossible.‌  ‌
----------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
Share‌‌an‌‌experience‌‌    ‌
 ‌
-Two‌‌years‌‌ago,‌‌Sister‌‌Nelson‌‌and‌‌I‌‌visited‌‌Samoa,‌‌Tonga,‌‌Fiji,‌‌and‌‌Tahiti.‌‌Each‌‌of‌‌those‌‌island‌‌
nations‌‌had‌‌experienced‌‌heavy‌‌rains‌‌for‌‌days.‌‌Members‌‌had‌‌fasted‌‌and‌‌prayed‌‌that‌‌their‌‌
outdoor‌‌meetings‌‌would‌‌be‌‌protected‌‌from‌‌the‌‌rain.‌  ‌
-In‌‌Samoa,‌‌Fiji,‌‌and‌‌Tahiti,‌‌just‌‌as‌‌the‌‌meetings‌‌began,‌‌the‌‌rain‌‌stopped.‌
-But‌‌in‌‌Tonga,‌‌the‌‌rain‌‌did‌‌not‌‌stop.‌‌Yet‌‌13,000‌‌faithful‌‌Saints‌‌came‌‌hours‌‌early‌‌to‌‌get‌‌a‌‌seat,‌‌
waited‌‌patiently‌‌through‌‌a‌‌steady‌‌downpour,‌‌and‌‌then‌‌sat‌‌through‌‌a‌‌very‌‌wet‌‌two-hour‌‌meeting.‌  ‌
-We‌‌saw‌‌vibrant‌‌faith‌‌at‌‌work‌‌among‌‌each‌‌of‌‌those‌‌islanders—faith‌‌sufficient‌‌to‌‌stop‌‌the‌‌rain‌‌
and‌‌faith‌‌to‌‌persevere‌‌when‌‌the‌‌rain‌‌did‌‌not‌‌stop.‌  ‌
----------------------------------------‌  ‌
 ‌
In‌‌closing‌  ‌
-The‌‌mountains‌‌in‌‌our‌‌lives‌‌do‌‌not‌‌always‌‌move‌‌how‌‌or‌‌when‌‌we‌‌would‌‌like.‌‌But‌‌our‌‌faith‌‌will‌‌
always‌‌propel‌‌us‌‌forward.‌  ‌
-Faith‌‌in‌‌Jesus‌‌Christ‌‌is‌‌the‌‌greatest‌‌power‌‌available‌‌to‌‌us‌‌in‌‌this‌‌life.‌‌All‌‌things‌‌are‌‌possible‌‌to‌‌

them‌‌that‌‌believe.‌  ‌
