Ronin racing is the first ever electric formula one car team for NITW and looks forward to a
legacy over the many years to come. Team is working in association with IG to Fabricate the
Vehicle.
Team focuses on building a class one electric formula one car for the specific competitions of
Formula Bharat and FSUK.

Ronin Racing Achievements

Ronin Racing being a champion by securing an ALL India 3rd place at the FSEV
Concept Challenge - an event for Formula Bharat enthusiasts, conducted on July 14th -
where contestants had to present their electric package design and procurement to the
industrial experts. This achievement boosted the morale of the team and it is motivated more
than anytime to build an electric vehicle of best quality.

ABOUT FSEV CONCEPT CHALLENGE

The 3rd Annual FSEV Concept Challenge (FSEV 2019) took place at the Ather Energy HQ
on Sunday, July 14 and was attended by 13 teams from all over India. The venue, hospitality
and staffing support for this annual competition was graciously hosted by Ather Energy for
the second consecutive year.

Every team has to presents their Design and Team Management strategy to a group of judges
at FSEV 2019 in for of 40 mint presentation with 15 mint Q/A round.

By evening of 14th July, results were declared at last followed by Ather HQ tour with proper
guide.

• Overall 1st Place: Team Octane Racing Electric – College of Engineering, Pune, MH
• Overall 2nd Place: Inspired Karters– Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
• Overall 3rd Place: Ronin Racing – National Institute of Technology Warangal, TS

NEW CHALLENGE FOR TEAM RONIN RACING

FORMULA BHARAT

Formula Bharat is an engineering design competition in which students from colleges and
universities all over the country, compete with a life-size Formula-style vehicle in areas of
engineering design, overall cost, marketability and dynamic performance. The series replicates
the global student Formula series hosted in around 11 countries per year.

The purpose of this competition is to encourage students to gain hands-on practical experience,
while applying engineering theories studied in the classroom. These student teams are required
to build a new vehicle from scratch year-after-year and seek sponsorship and donations by their
own means to fund the project.

The Formula Bharat 2020 competition shall be taking place at the Kari Motor Speedway in
Coimbatore from January 22 -26, 2020. The competition will focus on the combustion category
and will be following an adaptation of the Formula Student 2019 Rules document.
