(Solar Cell Operation, Performance and Design Rules)

Summary Report:

 In this week 3 I learned how solar cell operate, performed and the important concept of
design rules of a solar cell. And determine the performance of a solar cell using the
external parameters were the peak, the short circuit current density, the open circuit
and the fill factor. The difference of indirect and direct bandgap
 The equipment ampere meter for measuring the current and thermocouple monitors
the temperature.
 Utilization of bandgap energy and the design rules for solar cells: Band gap utilization,
Spectral Utilization and the light trapping. In this concept give us the idea and
knowledge on how solar cells made up.
