What Your Job As a Outreach Manager Involves

Welcome! OK so you’ve joined the team and you’re doing outreach for our link building agency.

Even if you’ve done email outreach before, I want you to pay close attention to this training, as the
way we do it – might not be the same as other agencies.

So what this will involve in a nutshell, is:

- Working with your other team member (the prospector), the project manager and me to build
links for client websites.

- The prospector will find relevant websites – your job is to make sure they ARE relevant (in other
words to manage the prospector), and then reach out to them, explaining why they should link to us
or that we can write a good article for them, or something else.

-The something else is – dependent on the “link type”

- We use different methods for different clients and situations. (This is what the training will
explain).

-The strategy part will be done by project managers. But – if you’ve got ideas or suggestions, please
do so.

-You will be expected to work closely with your prospector and also to manage them as well when
targets are not relevant or non-working emails are not delivering and need to be replaced. (Myself
and the project manager can help with management issues though)
