1.Qs = How have we accommodated the participation of our interested stake holders.
- We have accommodated the participation of interested parties by mainly toolbox talks where by
everyone will be free to say out his /her views in terms of safety, healthy and quality.
- There is also SHE reps who consult all queries around all working areas, they will be also
implementing the SHEQ policy informing workers about hazards which may be caused by our
equipments or machinery.
- The workers commit also represents some other issues like wages and anything else to the
management.
- Our CEO also move around in every department consulting what workers are expecting in there
working areas.
- There are also notice boards which will be written any information intended to spread to the
workers.
- SHEQ department also put suggestion boxes in other areas for everyone to be free to say out
his/her views if afraid of anyone.
- There is also a reward price for anyone who raises a valid point through these suggestion boxes.
- The contribution which is profitability are: following the SHEQ policy by making good quality of
products.
- There also introduce face bricks plant which is the Verdes plant.
- They also put some targets for weekly, monthly and yearly to achieve their goals.
- They are also trying to reduce accidents during work so that everyone will be working without a
fear of injuries.
- They also introduce Beta Zambia for the growth of our company.
- Also they have the Massa branch for cement bricks and pavers.
3. Qs = What has Beta Holdings put in place under IMS to ensure effective IMS implementation.
- To have a team to engage the customers complains every time when needed.
- Monitoring of PPE.
- Toolbox talks.
